Aleaha hilt punches her opponent again, this time knocking him out completely. He collapses to the ground, his snout bloodied.
Babushka throws her staff at the casting bozak, but it's flies wide and lands behind him on the ground, instantly becoming soft again. She then draws her Longtooth Dagger, which grows to its full size. She tries to hit her opponent with the flat of her blade, but he easily parries it. The bozak, snarling, cuts into her leg with his blade, drawing blood.
Lareth hilt punches his opponent again, but he still keeps coming. The bozak, however, finds it difficult to pierce the mage's defenses.
Dara pulls out a hand axe and with a flick of her wrist, sends it flying at the casting bozak. It slices into him, disrupting the spell he was about to cast. She then tries to strike her opponent with her short sword, but misses. He counterattacks, slicing into her. She lets out a cry of pain, but bites it back as soon as she can.

Jerrard picks the kender up and she peers out of the window in the door. However, as her infravision only extends a mere 30 feet, she can only see about half-way down the hall, but not into the actual guard room.
Guard Room
Babushka again is unable to pierce the bozak's defenses, but he has considerably less trouble. He slashes into her, nearly cracking the phantom armor she is wearing in the process, and drawing more blood. Things are not looking good for her so far!
Meanwhile, the fifth bozak runs up to attack Dara, leaving the young kirath to face two opponents at once. She takes a slight nick from a sword's blade, but otherwise escapes unscathed. Lareth knocks out his opponent, and Aleaha comes to Dara's rescue, knocking out one of her opponents.

Aleaha moves in quickly to help Dara, and knocks the bozak out with a hilt punch to the face. "Go, find the key and release the others," she says to Dara. "I'll stay and aid Babushka with Lareth."
Lareth, meanwhile, moves in to help Babushka himself. He strikes the bozak, getting its attention. Babushka is unable to hit it, and so withdraws a bit. The bozak finds he can't reach the gnome without turning his back toward Lareth, and so remains where he is to face the mage instead.
"You cannot win," Lareth taunts. "Surrender, and we may spare your life."
The bozak snarls. "You won't kill me. I see what you're doing here." He looks down at his own blade. "And if I fail the masters, my life is forfeit anyway." He begins to turn the blade upon himself.

Unable to think of any other alternatives, Babushka speeds toward the draconian and interposes herself between him and his blade. When the blade comes down, rather than hitting himself, it instead hits Babushka, shattering the magical Armor spell Jerrard has cast on her days before.
Dara and Lareth quickly hurry over to assist. While the bozak is distracted by Dara, Lareth knocks him out cold with the pommel of his weapon.
Sheathing his weapon, Lareth states, "We best hurry and free your friends, before they wake up and call for assistance."

Searching the bozaks, Babushka finds a key ring on one of them. Hurrying over to the far cell, she tries different ones until she finds one that works, unlocking the cell door. Meanwhile, Dara finds a chest under the table where the draconians had been playing cards. "I think I've found their possessions," she comments.

Seeing Babuskha appear at the door Locky beams widely, "Babuskha!" She exclaims "I knew you'd come." Hopping down from Jerrards hold she embraces her friend, seeing she is hurt she calls on Paladine straight away (2x Cure light, no invis castle).

Breathing a sigh of relief Jerrard allows Locky to leave the cell and embrace Babuskha, then steps aside and lets the women leave, his face falls seeing Malika, would he ever make up for what he said...?
