"So I hear, they could do wondrous things, stories which retelling have undoubtedly enhanced. But they don't those things anymore. Their sacred places of worship have been destroyed or forgotten and their knowledge lost to this world."

Coroccoco makes a noise of discontentment in her throat halfway between a growl and a grunt. "And all of their priests are dead. Or are you a prophet come again?" She throws the man's arm over her shoulder and holds him across his back to give better support and control. "Juggler, this is the man with the problems in the mine? Demons and Old Gods, the only demons this one has seen are the ones in his wine-sodden nightmares."

"Things will only get worse at this rate, but keeping the hope that it MIGHT not is what keep some people running," Kendra explains. "That is really all some people have," she adds as she closes the door now that the man is in the cell. "As much as I would love to debate about all of this, I have a job to do. It isn't much of a job, but it pays me, and it sees that my family eats. The people aren't the only ones suffering."

"This is the man, but I assure you his cause is real. He came to this town to find help against the demons in the mine, but his idea of help was to never see the bottom of his mead tankard."

Coco pivots her body outwards, causing the man to swing inward by his shoulder and come face-to-face with her. Though her eyes water from his breath she stares angrily into his face, temper beginning to rise again. "Explain this mine problem! What reward do you offer for its solution?"

Kendra (Dungeon, Old Keep)
"You lock up innocents, even children, so your own family can eat," Kelryn observes. "This is a society you think is worth serving?" He shakes his head. "No matter. I look forward to seeing what tomorrow will bring."

Haahqae, Gregeddin, Kynaston and Coroccoco (Outside the Steel Tankard, Herbalist Street)
"Whoa!" the barbarian cries once he sees Coroccoco up close. "Damn, you are the ugliest woman I've ever seen!" She gets a nice big whiff of his booze-laden breath, consequently. He sways a bit before adding, "...Thought ale was supposed to make 'em prettier..."

Unable to contain her frustration any longer the pugilist priestess steps backwards, ducking out from under the barbarian's arm and fully removing her support. She includes a little push on the small of his back to help him on his way back to the ground.

"Yeah, well, I don't," Kendra mutters as she walks out of the dungeons, so that she can patrol the marketplace like she was told to do.

"Easy there. What this man needs is a canteen of fresh water, or is that bad? He has too much drink inside of him so why add more?" Haahqae seems perplexed by this quandary, is water good for a drunk person? Logic says no, but books mention that it is. "Maybe he just needs to get the drink that is already inside of him replaced with water."

Kendra (Market square)
Kendra makes her way north toward the market square, in the rain. Once there, she finds most of Kelryn's followers are still present, and many look at her with anger and mistrust when they recognize her as the one who took their prophet away.

Haahqae, Gregeddin, Kynaston and Coroccoco (Outside the Steel Tankard, Herbalist Street)
"Wh-wh-whoooa!" the barbarian calls as he suddenly loses his balance and falls into the muck once again. He manages to get up on all fours, but then suddenly vomits onto the ground. "Ugh," he says. "I could use a nice rum to wash that taste out of my mouth..."

"Yes rum. Good idea, let me just go get that for you. Rum and water coming up." Haahqae makes his way to the door of the tavern.

Watching the Hobgoblin drop the drunkard, he frowned a little.

"I'd watch it," he warns her in jest, "People might get the wrong idea and think you're unfriendly."

After hearing the gnome and the barbarian conspire to put more alcohol in the man's bloodstream, he interposes himself between the tiny one and the door.

"You're both idiots," he informs them, raising an eyebrow and delivering a rather judgemental look.

Putting his fingers on Haahqae's head, he stops him before he can further poison the big man. "Let's save this big lug some disgrace, huh? Bring him some water, get me a splash o' rum and a shank of whatever it is they have shanks of. You want anything, scaly?"

"Umm yes sir mister Trench sir. Rum and water coming up as requested, you can have the rum. Also a shank for you sir Trench sir, and an ale for me."

Mister Trench isn't nearly as scary as Haahqae had thought when he first met him. Mind you, when he first met him, he was being yelled at from behind and asking some very personal questions. But Haahqae thinks that it's still a good idea to stay on mister Trench's good side if possible. His good side being the side that doesn't point fingers or axes in his face.

Haahqae waits only a few more moments to gather other requests for drinks before heading into the inn the inn to fill the orders he's received.

A flicker of amusement shows on Coco's face at Kynaston's words before she summarily quashes it, though she does seem in almost good spirits after putting the drunk on the ground."Juggler, a brew of something dark and warm." She looks around for any sort of cover since they're still standing in the rain, though it's not like she could be any wetter.

Kendra ignores the angry glares, as there really isn't a whole lot she can do about them. If they prefer to stand in the rain doing nothing, that that was really their business, not hers. "Just like I thought," she says to herself. "Another wonderful day."
