"Could you take us? Please?" Locky begs, "Do they know not to go after the Kirath? Will they let her go?"

Fikod does not let his prime view go unappreciated, but at length he finds the Kirath too bony and emaciated for his tastes. His eyes twinkle at the mentioning of lusty fey creatures. "Ye mean to say ye've got magical beasts what will prey on the beautiful and the dashing?" He twirls a mustachio, unconsciously throwing forward his chest and sucking in his gut. "Why, we may be in even graver danger."

Dara nods. "Centaurs are creatures that resemble half-man, half-horses. Their upper torsos are that of men, but their bottom halves are very equine. Satyrs are half-men, half-goats. Both are rather notorious for their hedonistic lifestyles. I can take you to them, and if I insist, they will release your friend from their charms. But it will involve going deeper into the forest, closer to the still corrupted heart," she explains. "We can leave first thing in the morning, if you like."

Babushka sighs. "it seems like we will have to do that. Not only have they probably taken the woman who was travelling with us, but also our mounts, pack animals and supplies. My donkey, Dekker, has been with me longer than any person ever has. I will not abandon him."
She looks at everyone in the group. "Do you mind if I do not take any watch tonight? I'm not feeling up to it, to be honest."
Slowly, she takes off her ruined armor and puts it on the ground piece by piece, as if saying goodbye. Can any of it be salvaged, e.g. the studs be saved to be applied to a new armor?

[Jenara]

"I think we should." Locky says as she eyes the Gnomes ruined armor (Am I correct in saying that the chain will fit Babuskha? But it will kill her skills.)

"I have one more spell, hopefully that will help." Soothing the Gnome with her hand she prays to Paladine once more.

With that she lays down, looking up at the Elf.

"I need to rest, but I can help with watches."

[Jerrard]

"We would be most honored if you helped us Dara. Is there anything else we need to be aware of?" Jerrard asks, grinning at Fikods reaction he gives Babuskha a knowing glance.

Imani smiles lightly at Fikod before she turns back to Dara. "Thank you for the help," she says. "As for watches, Jerrard and Locky, why don't you take first?" she asks. "I'll take second with Ulster, and Fikod and Jeremy can have the last watch."

"Just trust me, I'll get you there in no time," Dara says with a smile.

"It's better to have four watches than three. I can take one with Dara," Thuskar volunteers.

"Works for me," she replies.

Locky casts Cure Light Wounds on Babushka, restoring (1d8): 6 HP.

(OOC: Babushka can salvage the studs, yes. And since the chain mail is magical, it will fit Babushka, as well. Although while wearing it, she can't use her stealth skills or dual-wield without penalty.)

Fikod allows himself a small smile only half-listening to the group, but suddenly his brow knits and the amusement flees his features. He sends a discerning eye over Dara, inspecting her closely for any differences between herself and the Kirath they encountered earlier. Without taking his eyes from the elf he speaks to Imani. "Aye, last watch it is."

The party sits down to dinner, cooking up the four deers that Jeremy managed to catch. Together, they not only provide enough meat for everyone in the party, there's even some left over for Dara.

The four watches pass largely without incident; although during Fikod's and Jeremy's watch, a bear wandered close by the camp. It sniffed around curiously, then took off after a few moments and wasn't seen again that night.

That morning, after breaking camp, Dara says she will take point, as she knows the forest better. "The centaur camp is a few days to the south. So we'll have plenty of time to get to know each other in the meantime," she says with a grin.

Also, Solinari and Nuitari are in alignment, so Jerrard gets a +1 to all saves today.)

"Thank you for helping us." The kender smiles, taking up her little blanket and pulling on her armor. "Paladine will help you all."

[Jerrard]

"Indeed." Jerrard smiles, "You are somewhat different to some of the Kirath we have encountered." He says as he rolls up the bedroll, his head in his spellbook.

(Same spells, replace identity and one magic missle with armor, which he casts on himself and Babuskha.)

"The spell should help to protect you. Untill we can get you new armor." He says as he strokes the gnomes hair.

[Breila]

Babuska smiles up at Jerrard. "Thank you" she says.
Then she joins Dara. "May I stay up front with you? I have the feeling that I can learn a lot from you."

"Babushka, considering your condition, it might be a good idea for you to stay with Jerrard and Locky as we follow Dara," Imani suggests.

Locky casts: Cure Modeate on herself, 1d10+1=5

Cure Moderate on Imani: 1d10+1=10

Cure Moderate on Babuskha: 1d10+1=7

Cure light on Jeremy: 1d8=5

(Babs is now healed)
