"We need what to take the mounts? Babushka asks.

"The Boat, I think he means the Boat?" Locky says cheerfully, "I want to ride on a boat, that will be fun."

"Yes Locky we need to prepare the mounts to ride on the boat." Figuring a few things in his head he nods. "Right, we secure a vessel, get the horses ready, buy a Cloak, tell Wahid we are leaving early as we have somewhere pressing to be, and we free her." He looks at the Gnome and the Kender. "Is that all?"

(If thats all we need to do, I would like if possible to deal with that without RP and get to Malika getting freed. Unless its too late to secure vessels and buy a cloak now.)

Working quickly while there is still sunlight, the party sets to work.

The party secures passage on a boat for first thing the next morning. It costs 10 steel per person, plus another 25 steel per animal. Jerrard pays for Imani's (and her horse's) and Malika's passage, as he agreed earlier.

Jerrard also buys a cloak (8 silver) for Malika. He has Thuskar tell Wahid that they will be checking out early the following morning so they can catch their boat.

Then the party waits until late, late that night, when everyone in the inn is asleep.

Babushka pays 35 steel.
Ulster pays 10 steel.
Jerrard pays 55 steel, 8 silver.
Thuskar pays 10 steel.

"Its rather exciting." Locky grins, sitting cross legged on the floor. "I remove the curse and we sneak out?" She giggles, inside she was being serious, but it was never fun to let people know.

"Well, I feel rather sleepy. Wake me up when it is time, will you, please?" Babushka asks the others and curls up in her bed, after some time, gentle snores can be heard.

"Sleep well." Jerrard says smiling, stroking her hair for a moment. "We await Mailka to join us." He sits near the end of the Gnomes bed watching her sleep.

It is awhile before finally there is a gentle but nervous knock on the door.

Jerrard stands, and opens the door without a sound.

Malika quickly slips inside, looking highly agitated. "Alright, we must hurry. He's asleep now, but that could change at any moment." Turning around, she lifts up her hair to reveal the gemstone embedded in the back of her neck. "Quickly, dispel the gem before he awakens."

"Oh." Locky jumps up, raising her symbol she presses the platinum dragon against the Gemstone. "Paladine, please help to free this woman from this evil curse."

(Casts Bless [to help with the save] then Remove curse.)

Several tense moments pass, but nothing happens. "Well?" asks Malika finally, obviously frustrated and worried.

Locky casts Bless and Remove Curse.

(OOC: Two things. First, Bless only effects Fear-based saving throws. That is, it only gives you a +1 save against magical fear effects, nothing else.

Second, I actually said you needed Dispel Magic to remove the gem magically. This is a magical effect, not a curse. So Remove Curse has no effect, I'm afraid.

Although that's really Jerrard's fault, as he he told Locky to use Remove Curse.)

(Just.... ok, how long will dispel magic take to memorise and learn?)

(OOC: At least six hours to get the spell slot back, then another 30 minutes to memorize the spell itself.)

(Then... I have no idea what to do now. And you really waited 2 months to say?)
