The prophecy has come true!

It is dry here (the wind keeps blowing away all my clouds) and there's been a couple of fires, but I make it a habit of not running into them.

Cool, glad you're not caught up in some of that crap.
North Dakota here!
Originally from Montana.
Sorry for the delay, did an impromptu camping trip for the holiday.

Okay, looks like we're ready to set off here.
If anyone has any shopping or minor errands they need to run, stuff that doesn't need to be roleplayed out, just let me know. Otherwise, we'll regroup and start heading for the farm to begin the quest.
Also, Nuke, you never added Val Urgan to the Character Description thread, just so you know.

Ouragana needs a bedroll and rations, and consequently a backpack. If possible, she will trade in her bag, it's quite new.
She will also use ten minutes of her time to load the magical energy for "Jump" into her brain.

The bedroll will cost 3 gold and weigh 8 pounds.
I'll let her trade her bag for a backpack.
And I suppose if we assume that she memorized Featherfall yesterday, she can change it out to Jump today.
The rations depends on what you want. Bread, cheese, meat and such is cheaper but goes bad after a few days. Iron rations last forever, but cost more. Also, how many days worth of food do you want?
Did you want a weapon at all? Maybe a dagger--or several daggers, if you intend to throw them?

Arei just wants a hat, a floppy one with a feather in it! Lol.
Other than that she is all set.

Well, you said yourself:
Jenara wrote:"Areilon Landar." Arei answers taking a Bronze star, who would have thought it, her a Deputy? Her a former Pirate... "We will not let you down." She says with an open smile.
(Emphasis added). A pirate is, by definition, an outlaw. So...a former criminal then, at the least.
Anyway, the hat only costs 1 silver piece. I've added it to her inventory.

LOL, well a reluctant one, at the least! And thanks.
And seriously xelphyn? Grey Shades???
(If anyone doesn't know its a reference to Fifty Shades of Grey, an Erotic Novel.....)

Trust me, for once, the pun was unintended. I haven't read that one, heard it was... bland.
Hmm, I didn't realize I never got a bedroll, I'll need one of those, and three more daggers.

I rather like it, lol. Actually quite a lot.
I think Arei has everything she needs, she has a blanket, should be enough.

Yeah, I've heard of it. It's
literally Twilight fanfiction, the author just changed it just enough to be legal. However, 'shades of grey' has been a metaphor in the English language for much, much longer than that. So I didn't take it as a reference to the book.
Anyway, the bedroll costs a gold and a half and weighs 4 pounds. The three daggers costs 6 gold and weigh 3 pounds total. I've added this all to his inventory.

<- doesn't make pun, people find it anyway. Makes pun... overlooked.

It started as such, yes, but saying enough was changed to make it legal is... somewhat wrong.
Anyway, I like it, have read all three twice now, moving on....
