"I am sorry dear beloved, I only hoped to save Sturm from those foul beasts, not get beaten up by them. I obviously overstepped my meager skills and barely escaped alive. Some bodyguard I turned out to be,"

Riverwind continues to lie there, hoping for assistance.

"Highbulp not far from here. Can go see now," Magpie says moments before she's splattered with some kind of foul, disgusting slop. Caramon ducks just in time as a bowl of slop goes over his head, splashing on the wall behind him.

"Shsh... don't fret, Darling. It's hard to be a bodyguard for someone who runs instead of fighting, which he could do at least as well as you."

Examining Riverwind, Goldmoon must admit to herself he needs more help from the crystal staff. She casts another Cure moderate wounds.

Caramon briefly lets his gaze go towards the food in the mess hall, then slowly shakes his head..... "Hey everyone! Magpie says that Highbulp is close by." Turning to the gully dwarf, he asks. "What is everyone arguing about?"

"The food, apparently." Tas replies cheerfully and slips over to sniff the slop pondering which method of throwing is best. He looks at Flint and says in a low voice. "Not Cousins can be fun. Friends and food in the same place. This place is not too bad." He squares his shoulders back proudly.

Keeping her head held high Laurana turns to Goldmoon. "I believe it is not only Sturms pride that is hurt, his body appears injured also." She whispers to the Plainswoman before striding into the fray of Gully Dwarves. "Yes Magpie, Please lead us to the Highbulp." She says with her best Regal tone trying to act like a Princess, and not the little girl who got them chased by a Horde of Angry creatures.

"I am sorry Tanis." She whispers quietly into the Half elfs ear.

Sturm keeps silent, staying behind trying not to let his wounds show.

"Is not arguing," Magpie says to the big warrior, licking the foul smelling goop off her face with her own tongue. "Is lunchtime."

Before Flint can respond to the kender's comment, both are struck by bowls of the gruel. It smells even worse up close, and nearly gags them both. Wiping the gunk away, Flint's eye twitches as a pair of gully dwarves point and laugh at the pair.

Grabbing his axe, Flint says menacingly, "You disgusting vermin, I'll murder you all!"

The mood of the room shifts quickly, and the gully dwarves begin to panic. Some cower under tables, but most quickly dash through the northern exit at full pace, yelling in terror. Within moments, the room is cleared, the foodfight has ended, and everything is silent.

Flint looks ready to pursue them, but Tanis intervenes, stepping before him. "That's enough, Flint. We don't have time for this. We've been distracted enough as it is. I don't need to babysit you, too!" the half-elf hisses in uncharacteristic anger and impatience.

The old dwarf stares at Tanis, as if surprised he would be spoken to in that way. After gritting his teeth in silence for a few moments, Flint snorts and puts his axe away.

With that out of the way, Magpie meekly leads them north to the next room. The streaked walls of the room lie buried under tapestries and decorations almost too gaudy to be believed. The tapestries hang everywhere, some upside down or sideways. Fraying gold cloth drapes between statues of every shape and kind. It is the Aghar idea of the good life.

Tanis, Flint and Raistlin follow the gully dwarf immediately, the dwarf still trying to get the gunk out of his beard. He, Tas, and Magpie smell to high heaven, even from several feet away.

"We see Highbulp," Magpie announces to the guards at the eastern door.

"Must say secret word," the guard replies.

"Secret word," says Magpie confidently.

"Hmm, that check out," the guard answers, opening the door so they can pass through.

Tanis turns to Laurana. "Just...stay close to the group for now, alright?" he asks in response to her apology.

"I can do that." Laurana replies, following the others.

"Let's follow the others" Goldmoon suggests to Riverwind and Sturm. Following Laurana's words, she tries to keep an eye on Sturm to assess how badly the knight is wounded.

"Yes we should." Moving slowly he covers the rear, keeping his head down, occasionally he winces in pain, yet tries to hides them as best as he can.

"I am not sure about this, trusting these creatures.." He mutters to the Plains People.

"Yes, we should stay together"

Riverwind also is moving a bit slow.

Tas follows the group and grins as the slop makes quite a mess. Not all dwarves are stuffy grumps, after all.

Goldmoon moves slowly with Riverwind and Sturm.

"Yes it feels strange to trust these dwarves, but what choice do we have? At least we have the same enemy right now..."

After watching Sturm for a while, she tells him: "You should let me see to the wounds you have, they might get worse untreated"
