Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Lol... this will go well...
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Does Shima know that he's at -20 (or whatever) on saving throws?
I think he wouldn't but it's better to check. Thx.

Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
I think JadedDM mentioned in some description that Shima has a general "ominous feeling" and he has "bad luck". One would be more careful on that circumstances.
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Probably dwarven depression.
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Actually, Gobax never knew about the sewer job. That was one of the conditions of the job, that nobody was supposed to know about it except for Shima, Felran and Ne-Chanz. Telling anyone else would get them all fired, which was a point that came up multiple times because Chris kept forgetting that, almost telling someone, then having to go back and edit his posts to remove the reference to it.(OOC: Tulbas did hear along conversations with Gobax and before with the Minotaur and his fellow about their searches at the sewers as far as I remember. He considered to join but was occupied.)
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Oh... I thought Tulbas did hear about it. While all the characters where running all around the city trying to catch each other and leaving messages in the bars, I thought at some points where we actually met and discussed our businesses the subject was raised.
So if that's not the case, then bummer.
I apologize for the post.

Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
No worries, not a big deal anymore.
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
What, if anything, would Shima know about Magnus?
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
That he's a powerful Black Robed Wizard, owns the only mageware shop in town, is aligned with the occupation and is Tulbas' master.
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
@Jaded - Thanks for confirming that Shima has heard of the Wizard.
@Bish - Don't feel bad! I don't think Tulbas is foolish at all. The three 'step back inside' and 'Tulbas quickly join to Duo' were the only movements cited and Shima has previously (more than once) failed to hear a bunch of people talking at a table despite his hearing being nearly 3x better than average, so my understanding of the scene was identical to yours.

Sorry about how long it took me to post; but I was a little lost in terms of direction from the previous post.

Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Yeah, sorry about that. Things aren't going the way I had hoped. I had planned for Gobax and Haahqae to attend that meeting at the same time, and that they would both currently be in the sewer hideout. But Gobax went to the meeting very late, and then went to the High Hand. And then Tulbas and his team should have already begun their attack, but they got distracted with the whole Shima thing...so basically the timing is off on everything and I'm basically stalling at this point.
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Sorry, I didn't mean to be an inconvenience.
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Nah, it's okay. 'No plan survives contact with the players,' after all.
Re: WotL OOC Thread IV
Lol, ok, thanks. He was just trying to show modest defiance rather than an outright "No."
Plus it's lunchtime and have you heard a dwarf's stomach rumble? Makes sneaking difficult.
