WotL OOC Thread

This 2E Dragonlance game is set in the city of Haven, during the War of the Lance. Haven is a city undergoing great upheaval. First massive numbers of refugees pour in, then the city is conquered by a draconic army. Can our heroes survive under this dark occupation?

Don't worry, Haahqae isn't likely to do anything foolish, he's got high wis.

By the way, when Horizon saw my last post, she asked why I responded to her and not the others. Just so there's no confusion, it's because Gregeddin, Haahqae and Coroccoco are just passively watching at the moment; Kendra is the only one who's taking an active hand in things.

Nah, don't worry about it.

I kind of realized it was unnecessary to keep such a strict track of the time, and just went ahead and synced everyone up for convenience sake.

Just thought I'd put it out there OOC that Haahqae is the kind of guy who wouldn't mind joining or working closely with a few different factions, including the Seekers and the Orders of High Sorcery.

He would probably try to make his stay temporary or try to leave after a while (a few levels probably), but I wouldn't be surprised if Haahqae gets more then he bargained for with any of these factions.

Heh, I didn't really mean it as a hook. It just occurred to me that since it's already been established the local mine is having trouble, that it would affect the blacksmith.

I actually have 12 separate potential quests in the city at the moment. This doesn't include the main plot (the war), either. There's so much going on in the city, it's unlikely the PCs will even discover them all. :D

Yeah, that's fine. Fixing the mine seems like a good place to start for fixing problems, and helping the smith is a fairly in-character quest for Kyne to accept.

hmm... should I sober up a little and give a real response to Kendra or should I continue with my low-wis, playful banter? Tough choice... maybe I'll flip a coin, maybe I'll find a way to do both.

That is all up to you. :p

Though, I just want to say (because this has happened way too many times to me) that my character is the one that is frustrated. Not me. I'm actually having a really good time.

Seconded! If Coco is ever angry or rude it's certainly not my personal feelings ^^ We're all RPers here.

It's kind of sad anyone feels they have to make such a disclaimer, but I don't blame anyone for doing so. In more than one instance, I've had people mistaken my roleplaying for my actual attitude, even here on Planet.

No problem. Actually, that reminds me--how is every finding the pacing so far in this game? I've been trying for the most part to make a new post once a day. Does anyone feel like they're being left behind?

I'm good with the pace of things.
Actually that reminds me. I'm off on a field trip with school until Friday so if Gregeddin could follow round with whatever is occurring that would be great!
