CH. 5: The Sending is Coming from Inside the House

[Jenara]

Working quickly Arei starts searching the room, she searches under the bed first, then looks for signs that Tia had actually been there lately.

"That probably puts us in the best position to solve the murder," Jocelyn says. Sure, it put them in the most dangerous position as well, but the murderer had only targeted women. "Do we know anything about the women that were murdered, like if they have anything in common?" she asks.

[Breila]

"If I recall it well, the miller said no" Ouragana says. "But of course, as he is one of the suspects, he would say so."

"Whom could we ask about the rumors in town, who might tell us something?" she thinks aloud. "We are strangers, who will trust us? I guess you have the best chances, Jocelyn, being a follower of Ocantus."

"So, you want me to ask the wardens for what they have found?" Jocelyn asks.

Aside from her clothes and several empty bottles, Areilon doesn't find all that much in Tia's room. However, under the bed, she discovers a small, locked chest that has been tucked away there.

[Jenara]

She had come to the room to find out where she went, not to take her things, a locked chest she could do nothing with. Perhaps Grey could open it, but she wasn't out to steal.

It was obvious to her that Tia had gone, the Elf seemed to have a habit of getting into trouble, wherever she was, she probably needed help.

Returning the Chest for now, Arei opens the door slightly, watching the corridor.

(Seriously, she is not that sort of Thief)

[Nuke]

"Perhaps we should talk to the wardens again?" Val offers.

Areilon finds the hall is clear, so quickly rejoins the others downstairs.

[Breila]

"We could try" Ouragana says thoughtfully. "Though that would of course alert them to what they thing would be interference, maybe even vigilantism. I would prefer to try to pick up some of the rumors in town, though I admit I don't know how to do that, since we are strangers."

[Jenara]

"Well." Arei states striding in the room. "Its obvious they can't deal with it themselves, Tia is gone, I doubt she has been around for days, part of me thinks she will be the next victim we find at the Windmill."

"We need to go to Windmill, The Lighthouse maybe... The Barnacle Inn, that barman knows things, and someone needs to talk to the Wardens."

[HorizonsDream]

"Speaking to the wardens is a bad idea," Jocelyn says. "And this Tia could be the killer," she points out. Finally, she stands from the table. "Why don't we speak to the victims families? They might give us new information."

[Jenara]

"Of course she could. Don't you think I havent considered that?" Arei asks, looking thoughtful. "But that is a plan."

[Breila]

"It is a very good plan, Jocelyn." Ouragana concedes. "Do you have an idea who they are, or who could tell us?"

"And, have you learned anything from Brock?"

[HorizonsDream]

"I didn't ask Brock about the murder of his daughter," Jocelyn says. "I went in there to comfort him, as he was in need of it. Though, the waiter here will know of the other murders too. Ask him on the other families."

[Breila]

Ouragana shakes her head at her own stupididy. "Of course" she says as she gets up to talk to the waiter.

"Sir, do you know who the other victims of this murder series were? Do you know their families?" she asks him.
