Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Jinali pays for her room too and orders a goulash soup.
"I can lend you some money, but it depends how much you need... I've got nine steel left, you can have it." Jinali answers Karathos "But I think we should split it up too."
(ooc: who aktually have the goods?)

I am NOT sweet!
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Targin responds. "Certainly, perhaps we should retire to a room for that though. And, we still need to locate a merchant for the pelts we have."
He finishes his charred flesh and potato and gulps down what's left of his drink.
OOC : 207 stp, or 34 per, with 3 left over, we can square after the sale.

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"We'll probably have to wait till tomorrow before we can sell the pelts, won't we? Then let's split up the money and I'll go seek help. I will sleep much better if they can take away most of the pain." Indeed, the huge minotaur finds it hard not to stoop for the pain of his stomach wound. Because the ceiling is made for humans, he can do so without hurting his dignity.
There's more to me than meets the eye...
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Indeed, the 207 steel pieces taken from the gnome and two ogres splits between the six of them at 34 steel and 5 silver each. This amount is added to each character's inventory.
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"Thank you then for your kind offer, Jinali. But my share, plus what I have, will be enough to get me healed enough to sleep well" the minotaur looks at his mage friend and nods a few times. "And thanks for doing the work of splitting, Targin."
He then moves out and looks for the temple of Paladine, leaving his backpack behind (just arms, armor and purse).

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"Someone should probably go with him," Selowen suggests. "A minotaur wandering around the city at night, by himself, might cause some people to panic."

Jinali pays 5 silver for a room.
Everyone pays 1 silver for meals, and Targin pays 2 silver for the mead.

"I will go with him, I could do with healing of my own." He glances at Galenye, "You need aid too don't you?" He stands and follows the Minataor.

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Galenye stands and follows after Erastin and Karathos.
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Targin has another mead.
"Nothin' a little sleep won't cure."

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Erastin, Galenye and Karathos depart for the Temple of Paladine while Targin and the mages remain behind to finish the mead and their meals.
The temple itself is made of white marble with four white columns. Inside is an altar and a large statue of a metallic dragon, the symbol of Paladine himself. There doesn't appear to be any services at the moment, and the temple is largely empty save for a few acolytes that are sweeping up. At the sight of the minotaur, they both stop and kind of stare. An older gentleman wearing simple white robes trimmed with ermine steps out of the backroom and notices the group immediately. He holds up his medallion a moment, then nods as if satisfied with something.
"Worry not, I sense no evil intent in these travelers," he assures his acolytes. Stepping forward, he bids them welcome. "How can I help you?"

Karathos looks at Erastin, he thinks the knight aspirant should take the lead in talking.

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"Reverend Son." he bows at the waist. "We were set on by bandits on our journey from the high clerists tower. My friends and I seek healing from the wonder of Paladine." he reaches for his coin purse, "We will of course give a suitable donation to aid you in helping those less fortunate." stroking his long mustache he motions to his friends.
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
"Of course, I would be happy to offer Paladine's healing," the priest says. He summons an acolyte with a gesture to collect the donation money.
Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Karathos gives 40 steel, all he can afford for the moment.

Re: CH 4: Solanthus
Accepting the donation, the priest places a hand on the minotaur's shoulder and prays. "Paladine, if it is your will, heal this...person, so that he may continue to do good works in your name." The man's hand glows with a soft white light, and that light then seeps into Karathos's body.
The gut wound that troubled the minotaur so begins to rapidly close up. When the spell is complete, it's almost completely gone, more of a minor annoyance than anything else.
"Paladine's will be done," the priest says solemnly.

Karathos spends 40 steel and receives a Cure Light Wounds spell, restoring 4 HP.
