Vee gives up to seem disinterested. She crouches down in front of the cupboard to have a great look under it. "What do you mean Kim? here under the cupboard is nothing but dust and cobwebs!"

"Get out of the way, fool!" Kim hisses. "I can't use magic without hurting you. And the wall, dust and cobwebs and all, might just be an illusion."

"Ouu! the careful self!" Vee stands up very sloooooooooowly. So let's see, if it is an illusion my quarterstaff will go through, won't it?" and with these words she hits the wall.

Kim has half a mind of pulling Vee back by the collar, but doesn't. Some people learn only by their own mistakes.

"By large spider, you mean one about the size of your hand right? You know, that isn't really unusual considering how long this place has been abandoned," Echo says with a shake of her head.

Absently, Echo turns her attention to Vee and Kim. She feels the urge to just smack her forehead as Vee slams her quarterstaff against the cupboard. "And she wonders why she is called little one," she mutters.

"I once had a spider as a mount. Thus my definition of large is rather different to yours." brax says with a smile to Echo. "Perhaps 3 feet across."

Dogmeat backs away from the cupboard and barks but its too late. As Vee smacks the cupboard it flies into pieces, what appears to be am army of small centipeedes pour out, climbing Vee's legs, one bites her on the inside of her left leg. (One point of damage and save vs poison please?)

They cover the floor approaching Kim, brax and echo.

Brax stands still treading on each as it approaches.

Just to clarify, each one is six inches long, red, with wicked looking mandibles. Being bitten makes Vee feel rather drowsy.

Kim imitates Brax, treading on each of the caterpillars that come close enough.

Searos treads on each one but also moves back a bit hopefully staying out of the moving carpet's way.

"For the record, thats why I didn't check on it myself."

Unaware of what's happening in the other room, Amon continues his investigation of the room he's currently in, along with Gunther. "Whoever built this place was mad or drunk," he comments. "There are no hallways--all the rooms seem connected to each other directly. Must have made getting from room to room a big hassle. And I don't see anywhere to go beyond here. How very odd."

Vee gives a little cry and slaps on the centipede which was biting her on her legs. "Heeelp! AAAAAAAAAAAA! get away!"

She cries, slaps and stomps but she she is a little bit unfortunately because of the poison.
"Oh, Kord why I have to fight against centipedes? I have learned to fight against humans, not against Insects!" She mutters with a little bit of panic in her voice.

Vee starts to remove the insects, including one who is trying to get inside her armor. Brax steps forwards, pulling the girl from the floor, lifting her high. "Do not wiggle my dear, perhaps next time, consider your actions carefully?" she comments, pulling a creature from the girls hair.

Searos notes behind the cupboard appear to be a door of some kind, like someone purposely blocked the door. It must have been many years.

(jaded, my comment too, there is no Map, i will have to make one. The layout is strange, but not unlike many UK houses.

Can someone change the 'Kim' to vee please? Can't on my phone.)

"Yes, that’s a good Idea. I'll be more carefully...Thanks." after Brax set her on her feet again, Vee shudders. "I didn’t like animals with to many feet, but now I hate them. Are there any more on me?"

Amon returns to the kitchen in a hurry. "What is it? I heard a scream. Not more spiders, I hope?" he asks, concern in his voice.

[Jenara]

"You are fine, just stay closer to me, you are quite.. " she fumbles over the words. "Your fine." Patting the girl down one last time she mumbles and touches her symbol.

The hidden door is also visible to Kim, who can see the shape quite well. A small hatch maybe.
