Having taken position, what do we see? And hear?

[nothing yet, just the opening to the cave. it is still dark out and the tunnel-like cave entrance appears unoccupied]

Jordek keeps to his position trusting in the scouts.

While stood, Linar listens (Detect Noise 35%) for sounds from the cave.
He will advance quietly when Katten does.

Nocturno vigilantly guards the rear.

Peering into the darkness the Feliz keeps her bow readied and enters the cave mouth, she was ready and poised for anything. "This Avskum know we come, they try to trick us. We not let that happen." She explains to Elden before making her way into the darkness.

The group advances slowly through the darkness until they reach the underground incline. Katten's sharp hearing detects the soft sound of shuffling above.

Linar continues to advance quietly when Katten does, peering around all the while..

He skulks and listens and looks when she stops.

Katten raises her hand in warning, the noise above concerning her, pointing upwards she flatnens herself against the wall and collects a small stone, holding the others back (ensuring they are far enough back if an attack happens) she aims the stone underarm up the slope.

Being at the back, does Nocturno notice anything? Seeing what Katten is doing he will draw his sword, and make sure he has a good footing.

Jordek halts and waits while the lady up front assesses the situation. He quietly draws a dagger while he waits.

Katten signals to the group then presses herself against the wall. Gently she lobs a stone over the crest and the shuffling stops briefly. Soon the tell-tale scraping sound of a large rock being dragged becomes evident

Where does everyone want to be standing? which side and how far back?

The top of the incline is only visible from standing next to the very base of the ramp; otherwise the cavern ceiling is too low (about 5') to see the peak. The passage is wide enough for 2 abrest.

As a reminder the passage moves downward at a steep grade rather quickly; before an apparent dead-end. Approximately 40 feet in those in the front ranks see that the tunnel turns very steeply upward for 15 feet; then back down out of sight. Small handholds and footholds in the wall are usable to ascend.

OOC: Is this the place where Linar previously had a rock dropped on him?

"Back." Katten calls back to Linar, "You come with me, send others away from ramp, against wall." Pushing everyone back and to the sides, (some to the left and some to the right) before she switches sides. Flattening herself against the wall and notches an arrow and begins to climb motioning to Linar to do the same.
