I’m getting close to finished with my sheet, I think. I just need a couple of clarifications.
Couple of questions:
Horsemanship: is this the version from Unearthed Arcana included in the Cavalier?
Discipline: What is your source for this so I can read up on it?
Two weapon style/specialization/mastery: What are your sources for these so I can read up on them? Can 2 longswords be used (like Bortaan)
Height/Wt/Age for Dhampir?
And I rolled my starting gold: (150)
Idrys starting gold [5d4x10] = 15x10 = 150
I’ll get my personality/appearance stuff set up soon along with my equipment list. I think that might be all I have left.
I think I’ll go with the Religious Faction of Assassins; one dedicated to Lor. He will have joined to discover the secrets of his race and origins, with a goal to find both his parents (particularly his father).
Do you mind if I start a thread for posting character sheets? I find it makes it easier to make small adjustments that way by simply editing the post. If you prefer the sheets not be public, I can hide it so only you and admins can see it and you can store all the char sheets there.

Okay then,
you said you'd be playing a Dwemer.
The Dwemer were an advanced race and civilization, in many respects far ahead of the other races and civilizations of their time. They are well-known for their skill and revolutionary developments in technology, engineering, crafting methods, metalwork, stonework, architecture, city-planning, science, mathematics, magic, and the academic arts.
Most of your race was decimated during an epic event that took place 1,500 years ago, the details of which have been sealed and kept secret.
Dwemer are known as ancient elder Dwarves, with only six known clans left to exist in Scarlor scattered on different continents. They rightly consider themselves above and superior to other Dwarves.
You gain the following attributes, ability score mods and nwp's:
craftsmanship
engineering
smithing

so i would like to use a pile bunker as my weapon. if your cool with this can i start with it or do you want me to make as we go? ether is fine with me. i imagine when not cocked it will act like a short sword but when cocked and fired hit more like a Ranseur. so basically it would have two attacks based on of speed and dmg. the better attack has charges until i reload it say six and i would like it to have a chance to push the target if it hits.

@Rivi: sounds good.
They're like the elder more ancient Dwarves and are considered superior, not just by themselves but by Dwarves themselves. Sadly most of your race perished two thousand years ago in some unknown epic event and now there's only a handful scattered throughout the world, some twenty or so left.
you start out with any of these bonuses NWP:
engineering
craftsmanship
artistic ability - drawing
Your character will hail from the Gate Mountains, specifically Ironholme the seat of the Dwarven Empire. Since your race is near extinct you were invited by the Emperor to dwell in his city. Your job was to fortify the defenses of the city and improve its mechanical and technological aspects, and to improve waterflow hydraulics.
Nearly a year ago many operations came to a screeching hault with more prevalent drow and trolls disrupting mining operations. Since then most of the city has been on lockdown and all resources devoted to defense and military operations against these dark forces.
Life went into lull and your value and need changed from being a valued craftsman and builder to a fighter by necessity. The Emperor Reckghar Foesmasher sends you on a mission to obtain secrets the humans are holding, Dwemer secrets of old that are locked away by the order of Lor, God of Secrecy. Plans for more advanced and brutal weaponry that your ancestors created in times of trouble.

Apparently this character also has the luck of the kender... even though they have to be human to be a monk...

@Nocturno: monk huh? interesting choice.
Flesh him out a bit more with appearance, and e.q. and I'll provide him with a background. More than likely he would be a member of the monastic order known as Lords of Dis (Lords of Discipline) an ancient monk brotherhood known for their hard work, fighting prowess, and charitable acts.

Yeah Monk seems to be a challenge, and a good RP exercise.
Though with these rolls... lol having never played 1st Edition, I need to actually read what the monk does.
no +hit, but plus damage and chance to kill...
No Armour, but reducing armour as level goes up, and wicked awesome saving throws.
I think I am convincing myself to choose something else.

Uh, we need a cleric, mage, or thief type. Monks are fun but they die easily, even easier than thief sadly.
They do have the ability to deflect missiles (arrows, spears, etc).
