Wayfarer's Rest: Common Room
Pyros descends and finds a table, motioning for food as Cal makes his intentions known as well. The server nods and moves to the back, presumably to fill their order. He comes back quickly with coffee, juices and water. He says something in Harmonian that neither of them quite catch. Pyros attempts to thank the young lady, but isn't sure if he got it right or not.

Cal and Pyros lang check at breakfast [1d100] = 66[1d100] = 22

Cal sits and eats his breakfast, slipping some fruit to McWhiskers. "Women" he mutters.

"They are strange aren't they?" Pyros will blow on his coffee to cool it off.

Wayfarer's Rest: Common Room
Who is? Elsa asks, arms crossed over her chest as the joins the other small-folk downstairs. She couldn't have heard everything... could she? The stern look she gives them seems to suggest otherwise, but women seemed to learn that look in the cradle, so it was hard to tell. She takes a seat nearby and sets down a cup of tea she was already carrying. Yasir was still injured, and it looked like it might get infected so I put something on it. If either of you are still injured, you should let me know. she says in a gentler tone.

A couple of minutes later Yasir joins them downstairs as the food is brought out, apparently their needs had been anticipated... or Elsa tended to them earlier.

"I think I just need some water, after breakfast, the drinking and exploring got the best of me yesterday. Speaking of drinking! Hero, come sit, and tell me a tale of some rare beast you bested!" Pyros' eyes will pop open and grow brighter when Yasir comes into the room.

Yasir moves to the table and nods to Elsa as he takes a seat and motions his bandaged wound in her direction as he speaks. Thanks, again, Elsa for taking a look at this for me. It feels better already."

"I think water for me as well. Well, Master Pyros! A tale you say? There are so many it makes it hard to choose just one... So lets not, I'll tell you about the time I defeated the Hurgosplat, a jiggerydoo and Krolm at the same time!" Yasir practically shouts out the last sentence, slamming his right fist into the open palm of his left as he finishes and animatedly rises from his chair to look down at Pyros.

(OOC: Pardon my tangent)
"T'was a cold, windswept day(Some say the coldest day in all Calimshan, It has been said that dragens were spotted falling from the sky with their wings frozen in mid motion) and the sands were flying fast enough to strip a mans skin from his bones in less than a minute. A normal man at least, for I had been walking naked for ten hours through the bitter storm, my last taste of water a distant memory as I struggled onward. Even I, as courageous a soul as you've ever known, began to lose hope that I'd ever see the light of the sun again or breathe without inhaling a barrel of sand. I fell to my knees preparing all of my best curses for each and everyone of the gods when a beautiful melody cut through the wind and my dust clogged ears to lighten my soul and raise my hopes. I slogged through sand dunes as tall as mountains , my hips surrounded by the damnable dirt that seemed to get into places I didn't even know I had, searching for the source of the song. My highly trained senses were able to sort through the miasma of ambient noise and locate where it was coming from and in a short time I found myself at the foot of another large dune. At the height of it's rise there sat a..."

Pyros will start to vibrate with anticipation and coffee, mostly anticipation.

Common room.

Mira appears at the foot of the stairs about half an hour after Yasir, by this time the group have already started eating..
She approaches dressed in a flowing red skirt, white blouse and black bodice, walking she loosens the red scarf round her shoulders.

"Good morning." She offer's with an open smile, sliding up alongside Yasir she kisses his cheek and places a hand on his leg. "What are our plans for today? And sorry Cal.. I was worried about an injury Yasir sustained, forgive me for being rude."

cross smiles at the kind word "yes i believe we can work together! to tell you the truth i tend not to stay long in one place and am as used to sleeping under the starts as not." then pausing "bad dreams...its seeming like more and more a coincidence i don't believe in. ill need to ask the others about it. as for the weapons, i think it is a good idea to be prepared" once downstairs he joins the rest sitting still preoccupied with the dreams "how did everyone sleep?" the question clearly had more to it from the serous tone he used

Artanis Auir

Artanis follows Cross and grabs any available seat. "Calimshan. I met a fellow from there once - he was a caravan guard and also the Sergeant of the Guard on a merchant vessel aptly named The Drunken Monkee. His stories were not nearly as good as Yasir's though, so continue on!" Artanis smiles. He enjoys a good "fish" story - they were a great way to pass the time, especially around the camp fire.

"Yes please Master Pyros." She responds to the Kender with a grin of her own. "Cross, I was hoping we might share spells? That invisibility spell you used yesterday, might I try to learn it? I can show you the languages spell that while it's less... Shall we say complicated, it's far more useful."

"Story? I like stories.. The plainsmen of my world pass their history through stories." Her eyes go back to cross at the mention of dreams. "It's this place, it's like it's haunting us.. Filling us with dread. I wonder if say Merrick has the same problem?"

"Yeah, it's alright." Cal said. "I do still have a claw wound from this big freaking cat that attacked me." He chows down.

"Elsa it might be prudent to make sure everyone is fit and healthy, before we head out and do our thing.." Mira suggests as she takes a bite on a pastry.

Elsa grins from ear to ear at the warrior's tall tale, shaking her head in wonder at the ease with which he rattles off the impossible.

The halfling inspects the cut on Cal's arm, This one doesn't look too bad and it isn't infected or anything. It probably won't be a problem at all by tomorrow... I'd be more concerned about Yasir's injury, but aside from being a little swollen it shouldn't bother him more than a couple days... The wrap I made will keep it from getting infected... Taking some breakfast she asks, So what is the plan today? Check out that book? I need to pick up my silver weapons from John... Anything else?
