One question about Ravenloft. Will there be near perpetual night? Within style of pure Gothic Horror, that would open a load of possibilities for characters.

Well, lets have a challenge then. I'll still attempt the character even though the chances of me dying every day are 50/50. I've neverrun a character with a challenge so, why not.

I should mention characters are starting Outside of Ravenloft first, then transitioning in.

Did I give too much away too soon? Well, you did say any races from Ravenloft and well, there I found it, in a dark corner, hidden in the dark, damp tomb.

I believe in my initial post I said most characters would start outside Ravenloft, and that they could be from almost anywhere on the prime material plane, which Ravenloft is not. It is a demiplane.

The point is that Ravenloft is alien to all of the pcs before they start. I'm sorry if that was unclear

I've been considering taking over the abandoned Druid/Ranger. I'll probably tweak a few things, if that's ok. But at least I don't have to start from Square 1. Besides, it's Ravenloft. Chances of survival are Slim and none, and Slim left town.
