Gallath's Vignette

I try to learn as much as I can about her, while passing time and being careful, taking care of my animals as i go.

(OOC: And how does he accomplish this?)

(OOC: Following her casually, sitting at the next table at breakfast/lunch/dinner, whatever I can without being creepy or noticed. Also, are there any other agents of the guild onboard?)

(OOC: The only people on board that Gallath is sure are Guild members are the captain and first mate.)

(OOC: Okay, I share my suspicions with them only, not even with her sister)

Gallath carefully follows the trio back above deck, where they split up. The two dwarves head up to the aftcastle to perform maintenance on one of the catapults. The woman stays near the main mast, working on the rigging.

Gallath spots the captain and first mate over on the forecastle, going over a map. He could keep an eye on the dwarves, on the woman, or go speak with the captain first.

(OOC: Are they crew members?)

Gallath approaches the captain and first mate, who are speaking while looking over a map.

"Looks like we should arrive tonight then," Sierra says. "That works out. We can stay the night, unload our cargo in the morning, and set sail that afternoon again."

(OOC: It would appear so. They are working as if they were on the crew, and the captain did mention earlier that Gallath was their only passenger.)

"Who are those three?" He asks, while indicating the ones he means.

(OOC: Oh yeah.)

The two look at the three people Gallath indicates. "Oh, uh..," begins Sierra, rolling up the map. "Those are...uh...they would be..," she trails off a bit, tucking the rolled up map under her arm. "Damn, I don't know. There are two hundred people aboard, I can't keep track of them all. Terra?"

Terra looks thoughtful, crossing her arms. "I don't recall their names. But they are new...ish. I think we picked them up about three months ago," she says. "They do decent work, they have obviously sailed before." She tilts her head at Gallath. "Why do you ask?"

"I was tending to Borak, my horse, when i heard them talking. They said that they were members of the League, and that they were to meet an elven woman named Tialis. Have you heard of her?"

The two women share a look. "Members of the League? That's a pretty serious accusation. If that's true, we should have them locked up in the brig and turn them over to the authorities. Do you have any proof?" Sierra asks.

"Never heard of anyone named Tialis," Terra adds.

"No, me either," Sierra agrees.

" No, but if you have anyone that can use magic, have them try something."

"We do have a mage...our navigator, Thaddeus," Sierra muses. "But the only spells I've seen him put people to sleep or hurl globs of acid at things. Still, I can talk to him and see if he has anything useful in this situation."

"In the meantime, maybe you should see if you can find some proof," Terra says to Gallath.

"Agreed" I follow her and see what I can do, while passing time and taking care of my animals. Whenever she is busy and will take awhile, I search her bunk.
