Searos finally reluctantly climbs aboard the ship, not speaking to anyone and taking a seat with his hood still drawn up.

As Searos sits down, Gunter clears his throat and loudly addresses him.

"And how are we this fine morning, Master rogue?"

Kim is the last of the group to show up at the dock. Having stayed nearly sober the evening before, Kim's appearance is the usual combination of black leather and white linen, the shoulder length black hair tied together in a ponytail to prevent it blowing in the wind. Just as Kim greets the rest of the group, three men come on deck from below.

One of them is Roland, who comes towards Amon and greets him with a friendly handshake. He is followed by a very tall and thin man who has to duck not to hurt his head at the door lintel. Despite his thinness, he looks sinewy and strong.
"Hello, Amon" Roland says in greeting. "I think you know Gulliver, first mate of the Seagull?"

The third man is stocky and strong in built, with a mane of red curls tied back in a ponytail and an impressive red beard. In Tel's tavern last night, some of the group may have been told to "beware of The Redbeard, then" when they told they would sail to Dunreese on the Seagull. The Redbeard is the nickname of the ship's captain - for obvious reasons - but no details were given.

"Indeed Vee, I trust you slept well?" Brax asks as she boards the vessel, before moving over to the silent Searos, "We still need to talk, me and you."

She stands when Kim appears, but she stays silent when the men arrive choosing to let the others speak.

"Good to see you, Roland," Amon says, returning the shake. "And you, as well, Gulliver," he adds, offering to shake his hand, also.

Searos just gives Gunter a sullen look and sighs "Like you were treating my skull like a gnoll all night.

He then nods to Brax. "Find us a private corner and we can have this oh-so-important chit-chat"

"You've been saying you need to speak to him for two days now," Echo says to Brax. "You haven't found the time to speak to him yet?" she asked with a shake of her head. "I'm starting to think whatever you have to say to him really isn't all that important."

"Yea, I've slept well, only the wake up wasn't well..." Vee says, making a face.

"Pelor teaches me to ignore your comment Echo. Otherwise I might say something I would regret."

Turning she looks for a shady spot and motions to Searos.

"Apart from the obvious, what is your problem with my master? Does he not give us the light to live? To aid the plants..?" she asks her hand on her symbol.

"We appear to understand each other. So it is not me."

"please think about the question. And answer when you are ready."

Gulliver accepts Amon's handshake and asks him "Is everybody of your group on board, then?"

The Redbeard has crossed the deck, looking everybody of his passengers over without moving a muscle, and approaches the helmsman.

"Yes, everybody is accounted for," Amon says. "We're ready to set sail whenever the captain gives the order."

Martin walks slowly and sedately down the pier to the Seagull. His wine-red hat is pulled down close to his brow, providing the maximum possible amount of shade, and he has donned a pair of goggles with smoked glass lenses. He is dressed slightly more sedately than usual, in a plain silk shirt and red boots, although he still wears his violently blue trousers. He is carrying a satchel on his shoulder, and a net bag in his hand.

He draws himself up to attention at the gangplank and asks: “Permission to come aboard, suh?” Once granted permission, he boards lightly, bowing to the captain in passing. “I was worried that I might be late - I had some urgent shopping to do this morning, and had to wait until the provisioners opened. Turns out they were a bit hungover this morning - spent last night at Tel's enjoying themselves a bit too much. Had to knock them up.
Good morning, everyone.

"What the devil are you doing here?" Amon demands. "You were not invited to join us, sirrah."

Echo crosses her arms over her chest as she notices Martin. With a frown, she looks over to Brax as she figures she is the one behind him being here. "I can probably guess who is behind him being here."

"I'm a little hazy on this 'invited/not invited' business, sirrah. Is 'invited' that thing where someone asks you very politely, and with considerable deference, to be someplace, like maybe, I don't know, a party of some sort, and you don't show up? Or is it the other way around?

"But no matter. I think everyone had such an absolutely smashing time last night that they didn't even miss your presence, so it all worked out. I wouldn't spend a moment worrying about the impact of just one single evening on your reputation in town. I am sure everyone knows you for who you are, and loves you as well as you deserve. Nor should you fret about hurting my feelings. I forgive you - all water under the bridge as far as I am concerned.

"In any case, there's no need to get your smallclothes in a twist. I am merely here to see my friends off. And I come bearing gifts for all of you." Martin reaches into his satchel and pulls out a large jar, which he hands to Vee. "Candied ginger. Good for warding off the nausea caused by seasickness in those unaccustomed to the sea, or in those who may have overimbibed the night before. Share it around, if you would, Miss Vee?" Then he opens the net bag and extracts several woven straw hats. "These might look kind of goofy, but they'll keep the sun off your skin. There should be one here for each of you. Even one for you, Radiance, for too much of a blessing can cause discomfort in the recipient.

"That said, I bid you good day and safe travel. I shall see to it that the town is still here when you return, and that your two furry friends don't get into too much mischief in your absense. Can't expect Constable Petterson to do that all by herself, can we?"
