Vee walks down the stairs, braiding her long, black,-and disheveled hair. She looks only half awake, says a yawnning " morning!" and let herself fall on a chair next to brax.

Then she regognices the juggler, give him a sceptic look and whispers to brax: "who's that guy? and why does he wear patched together clothes?"

(ooc: Hmmm... customs in inns seem to be different in Germany than where you live... the back room of an inn here is not usually open to the public, but opened only for specific groups. It's not exactly that entry is forbidden to others (it may be), but the general public does not enter. But the opening with Brax and Martin is just so good that I assume now that the group is assembling in the common room - where this takes place - and then moving over into the back room together.)

[OOC] No different, really. I just missed the "back room" thing. But as long as he could see in, the fact that the room was a back room probably wouldn't deter him. [/OOC]

"Afflicted? No, not afflicted. Just merry. As for clerics, they serve a purpose, but I have little use for them. They tend to be a bit dull. I'd be willing to bet that when a candidate gets his holy symbol, he gets a free frown to wear with it. No fun at all, really..." he pauses when Brax's holy symbol appears, then plunges on: "It looks good on you, though."

"And of course I have a name. You may call me Drake, if it please you. And I do indeed have a hair-care product of note." Martin 'appears' the small jar he took from his bag and places it on the table. Inside is a thick, viscous liquid with little bits of dart matter and bubbles floating within.

Martin glances quickly at Vee's interruption, makes eye contact and stage-whispers: "I never know what to wear. This saves me from having to decide. And you wouldn't have to braid that if you had a bottle of this."

"Excuse me." She says to 'Drake' looking away. "Good morning my dear." Brax gives the young warrior a smile, patting her leg as she slumps down. "You seem to have slept well, I trust you enjoyed the bed.." She adds, all but ignoring 'Drake'

"Clerics wear the weight of their God on their shoulders, such a burden is hard to bear." She says as she turns back to the strange man.

"Brax." She says simply, sipping her wine, the deep red contrasting against her pale lips.

"Drink my dear?" She asks looking back at Vee.

"Good morning, Miss Vee," Amon says with a smile. "I trust you slept well?"

Glancing to Brax, he adds, "It's a tad early in the morning for that, isn't it?"

Martin's voice takes on a distinctly ecliastical tone as he says: "And the great one spake, saying: 'I shall take a beaver, and slap onto it four webbed feet, and a duck's bill. Oh, and it's a mammal, but it lays eggs. Take that, scholars!'"

"You are quite strange." Brax frowns, why did she always get them? Looking down at her bare legs and apparently seeing nothing wrong she shrugs. "Pelor is not whimsical, he is the light, his clerics heal the sick and aid the weak."

"I am not here to have a Theological debate, yet ours is not to question the gods, I thank you very much."

~Why am I even compelled to come here,~" Echo thinks to herself as she walks into the inn quietly. She is now clean, wearing a clean set of robes, and she certainly doesn't look too thrilled at being here. Approaching the back room, she raises an eyebrow upon seeing Amon. "That's...different," she says before she turns her attention to Brax. "Planning on starting your own brothel?" she asks

Amon nods to Echo. "Good morning. And yes, it is different. I feel different, though. Like I learned a great deal yesterday. I'm not as naive and out-of-touch as I once was," he says knowingly. Then, leaning toward Drake, he adds, "Excuse me, waiter? Could we get some more orange juice over here? And for the young ladies, as well," he says, gesturing to the newly arrived Vee and Echo.

"Unlike yourself I am unable to just find clean clothes, besides after having those disgusting animals paw over mine.. I am less willing to wear them." Brax comments to Echo, totally missing the point. "Perhaps you can suggest somewhere to buy something more conservative?" she grins, its hard to tell if its a joke or not.

Kim leans back and follows the exchange between the others. Fascinating, people were just fascinating. Before today, Kim wouldn't have thought that Amon could be witty... and this newcomer was clearly colorful.

"I'm pretty sure you don't know what conservative means," Echo says. "I've have better things to do with my time than sit here and play fashion design," she adds as she sits down. "I'll take some water."

Searos comes stumbling down the stairs in a stained tunic and breeches looking thoroughly disheveled. He comes into the back room grumbling about needing food. However, at first sight of Martin, he looks extremely queesy and rushes outside to empty his guts on the side of the building.

As he re-enters the building wiping his mouth with the back of his sleeve, he plops down in a free seat. "Sorry... between the hangover and whatever Patches here is wearing... too much color for me."

Right after Searos enters the second time, a young woman comes in. She's about the size and build of Vee, but a good ten years older. Untidy brown locks make her head appear out of size. She is carrying a heavy bundle and approaches Vee directly, carefully setting the bundle down by her feet.
"Hello, you must be Veeleyana" she tells her. "My name is Geraldine Petersson, I'm a member of the town militia. In the cellar, we found most of a plate armor - the woman who was wearing it is going to get her funeral this evening, by the way - and I was told you had taken the breast and back plate, but couldn't use the rest. Well I have this cuirass here and I thought you might want to swap. You see, it looks nicer if I have the whole suit of plate instead of a mix. And the curiass is really nice. Mr. Cousland and Mr. Soulstaff have checked it and say it is of the same quality as the plate armor. So, what do you say?"

She undoes the bundle, it contains indeed a beautifully crafted cuirass. While not as shiny as the plate armor from the mansion, it has a large tree engraved on the breast plate.


(ooc: both Echo and Amon know Geraldine since childhood. While she tends to talk too fast and too much, she's a good warrior and, in fact, sort of unofficial second-in-command of the town militia.)
