Re: OOC Thread
Yes, I can tell. And it's not my intention to sound critical. I'm just finding myself at a loss on how to stall until Gaia gets here while at the same time, giving the rest of you something to do.
Re: OOC Thread
Cool, sorry I didn't finish that post.
I think we are still finding the PC's, personally I am trying to distinguish him from Jerrard and Sturm, waiting Gaia I am happy with that, but I think we won't fully find the group until we encounter some "Action".
Just a thought.

Re: OOC Thread
I have a question for the dragonlance experts.
Is there a traditional way for fighters to greet each others? I know of at least one world (in a novel) where instead of shaking hands, fighters clasp their hands around the partner's lower arm, near the elbow. Would that be suitable?
Is there a place where I could read about dragonlance etiquette? I'd rather not have Karathos do too man blunders...
And sorry, Jaded, I didn't think you wanted us to keep the conversation going until Gaia returns, so I didn't post.

There's more to me than meets the eye...
Re: OOC Thread
I'm not aware of any particular etiquette among fighters or even Solamnics. Lots of etiquette among the knighthood, but Karathos wouldn't need to worry too much about that, as Targin has pretty much coached them on what not to do so far.
Yes, that would be fine....fighters clasp their hands around the partner's lower arm, near the elbow. Would that be suitable?
Re: OOC Thread
Did I say something wrong? lol
Re: OOC Thread
No, sorry. Horizon has fallen ill the past few days, hence her sudden disappearance.
Re: OOC Thread
Oh no, I do hope she is ok!

Re: OOC Thread
She is bed-ridden, but I took her to the doctor's office and we got her some medicine and some leave from work, so she should be okay in a few days.
Re: OOC Thread
Hello all, Targin Steelaxe here.
glad to be aboard

Re: OOC Thread
Yes, Nuke here is taking over for Targin. And I do believe Gaia should be back soon, too. So with any luck, we'll be moving forward shortly.
Re: OOC Thread
So my Mentor is a PC
I look forward to playing with you.
*Gives a Knightly Bow*
(PS Glad to see you back, your last game fizzled out did it not? Things like that tend to happen when Jen gets squashed! lol)

Re: OOC Thread
Yep, 'Down the Dungeon Way' died once 80 tons of rock squashed Jen.
Though, I am not sure how a Dwarf mentors a Human Knight aspirant.
It should be fun.

Re: OOC Thread
Targin is mentoring Erastin in terms of how to fight. The honorable stuff, like the Measure and Oath, are things Erastin learned on his own.
Anyway, so...Gaia was supposed to have returned on the 11th, correct? As soon as she posts, we can move forward and arrive at the High Clerist's Tower.
