Warriors and rogues (that includes bards) can attempt to fight with 2 weapons. -2 to the main hand, -4 to the off-hand. The main hand can have any med or small wep, the off-hand must have a smaller weapon. A dagger can always be used in the off hand. The 'reaction adjustmemt bonus' from dex negates the penalties. Pyros' bonus is +3 (because the little maniac has a 19 dex, which is ridiculous) so his penalties would be -0 main hand/-1 offhand

Rangers don't suffer the -2/-4 penalties.

Warriors and rogues can take the two-weapon Style specialization to negate the penalties and use two weapons the same size like longswords. Artanis doesn't have the style specialization yet, which is why his silver longsword attacks are at -2 right now.

Studded leather or lighter to ignore the penalty, and Artanis has studded leather. I would also say elven chain.

Jen: WS was Hurt Critically or 25% of hps. I don't list monster or npc hps, just percentages. Now he is About to Die. Incidentally he does have 2 hps now, and had 5 before she hit him.

Yes, but you can't do ranged attacks at melee distance. If you had been far enough away to throw you couldn't have blocked it from attacking Mira and vice versa
