Marie's eyes light up when Mira says that, not only will she commission the silk gown, she'll pay in advance! With a giddy energy she retrieves her cloth tape-measure and begins marking down the Bard's sizes. Of course I can help your friend, but I'm afraid anything I'd have would have to be let out in the bust a bit for her... The things I have that fit her height are more for girls than young women you understand... I do have her dress ready that you requested yesterday. It's nice but not fancy... She hums a bit as she works and forgets to guard her face. Mira can see there is quite a bad bruise on her cheek near the jaw, and some suspicious marks on the side and back of her neck... no wonder she had her hair down. It did a fair job of concealing the bruises, but this close with her attention diverted it was plain enough.

---------
Mira's total is:
Green silk shawl: 1gp
Green silk Corset: 1gp
Brown Satin skirt: 4sp
Orange scarf: 1sp
Black silk dress (in advance): 6gp
Total: 8gp, 5sp

Here is the orange scarf... kind of Bohemian...
Picture was too big, so here is the link...

"Your prices are really good, your work is fine. I am so lucky to find you." Raising her arms she lets her do the measurements without question, catching sight of the bruises she shakes her head. "You will come to the show tonight won't you? I'd love to be able to thank you personally while I'm playing. You and your husband." And she'd get a few drinks put behind the bar.

"Can you make her a dress, you have her measurements, one for when we get back so she will look lovely?" Mira whispers so Elsa cant hear, "She is so lovely and she has been so kind."

Pyros: Blacksmith
Terry calls to Pyros, South. Next to the other smithy.

Elsa and Mira: Blue Bolt
Oh yes! I'll... umm... I do my best to make it... she casts a worried glance back at the door in the rear of the shop. Monard loves music, so I should be able to convince him... She shakes off whatever is bothering her somewhat. A surprise? Yes, I can use my measurements for her. What kind of dress would she like? Marie asks, lowering her voice.

Elsa, over near some of the scarves, notices the change in tone. Hey, what are you two whispering about over there?

[Ooc: She doesn't understand the language really, so whispering just made it more suspicious ]

"Oh nothing, habit, I was just saying nice things about you, didnt want you getting embarrassed so I whispered. Sort of forgot you don't know what I'm saying. Your dress is ready." Giving Elsa a warm smile she picks up the skirt and corset, "Can I try these on just so I can show Elsa? And can you show her dress, so she can try it on?"

Mira is a hive of activity that even Pyros would have trouble keeping up with.

"As for her dress... Something.. Cream that accents her chest...she likes loose things that flow.. I wish I had the money to get her something silk.." Mira ponders the thought, "But I don't think silk would flow well.."

(Totally out off your comfort zone eh? I really can't tell...)

Pyros will bolt south looking for a store that would look like a smith, then the general store. He will obviously forget he can't speak the language.

[Ooc: Actually, I'm ok Jen... I have 3 sisters... ;)
The Blue Bolt (BB) is roughly half-way between The Smithy (TS on the map, not John's smitgy BS) and the inn (WR). The General Wares (GW) is the large-ish building just East of TS. I'll add them to the map soon.]

Cal and Cross: Silver Scale
Cross steps out and looks for the girls, spotting them as they round the bend out of sight. He moves to follow, leaving Cal in the shop. Cal also spots the rest of the group heading off in the same direction... he could follow either geoup if he wanted or go exploring on his own.

Cross doesn't quite catch up to the girls before they reach their destination, which is almost all of the way back to the inn. He has to peer in a few windows before he finds them.

Cross, Elsa and Mira: Blue Bolt
But of course! Marie leads the bard to a large folding-screen in the back corner for her to change behind. Cross enters the shop and Marie calls to him in Harmonian, Bonjour! Comment puis-je vous aider?

Artanis, Pyros and Yasir
Pyros sprints down the road ahead of the others. When he is about halfway back to the inn he spots the other smithy. Just past it, on the North side of the street, he finds a plain storefront with a sign depicting supplies like bags of feed, packs and shovels... this has to be it. Pushing his way through the door he sees row upon row of the most random stuff along with seeds, feeds, tools, practically everything anyone could want. There are a few men talking at the counter who look up at his entry, but quickly disregard him. Artanis and Yasir catch up a few minutes later.

Pyros will pull out the hooks.

He will try to say hello in Harmonian.

Language: [1d100] = 57

"Do you have line?" Holding up a couple hooks.

If he notices their dumbfounded expressions on his speech, he will mime out stretching line from the hook. Then a casting motion.

He will then try to mime out bait, by holding his index finger and thumb close together then pretending to slip the hook onto a cube of meat or bread.

In fact if he can grab something squishy easily from his pocket, he will put it on the hook.

[Ooc: map is updated]

Artanis, Cal, Pyros and Yasir: General Wares
Pyros mimes out fishing and after a moment the shopkeep, a balding man in his mid 40s, points to a particular corner. The Kender finds all manner of ropes, thin wires, chains and lines. He finds one tough, thin line wound on a short length of wood. It is lightly waxed and seems perfect. The man doesn't seem to have any bait, but Pyros has heard of using worms and crickets for such... peraps the Ranger can help.

Cal finds that practically everything has some use. There are dozens of simple tools, abimal traps, wires, rope, lines, packs, pouches, torches, lamps, oil, mirrors, springs, and even wagon and cart wheels.

[Ooc: practically any mundane equipment can be found here aside fron weapons, armor and expensive stuff.]

"How much of this line will we need?" Pyros will yell from behind the shelves, certain that the others will not be able to see him since he is probably quite a bit shorter than the shelving.

Thinking he will just tangle it up he calls out "Mr Ranger, would you be so kind as to grab this line so I don't make a huge mess of it."

[OoC: I wonder what will jump into Pyros' pockets from here lol]

Once Artanis enters the line area, Pyros will look for candy or sweets, and put up to 20 in a bag or just in his hand if no bag is available.

He will then go to the counter, and pay for the line and sweets by placing 10 silvers on the counter.

Artanis Auir

Artanis chuckles as he helps the eager, nimble and slippery fingered Pyros get the amount of line they will need - plus some extra as he figures Pyros will end up hooking himself or a tree long before any fish. "I'll find us some bait near the river, my fleet of foot friend. And let me help pay for this line - unless of course you've already deducted that amount from my pockets." The ranger laughs.
