Martin turns to his left and says: "Well, go on then." Then, realizing there's no one there, he turns back to the others. "Right, then, two scaaaaaary looking doors on a pirate ship, what's the worst that could happen?" So saying he advances to the nearest hatch, dagger in hand, and opens it.

"Nay Braxy? Why no Y Why not?" Gustas rambles as he walks towards the doors, the vessel in his right hand tips his balance naturally leading him to the right hand door. A thick left fist pulls on the door handle to open it.

Surprisingly Drake and the rest already find the halfling messing with the door knobs trying to open the right door. "So you decided to join. Nice."

This cabin appears to fill half the stern section of this deck, with one bulkhead running along the centerline of the ship.
Along this bulkhead, leading upwards and forward, is an enclosed companionway. At its foot, a door in the central bulkhead
seems to lead to the other half of the stern section.
In the center of the cabin there is a plain wood table on which stands a pewter flagon and a pewter mug. Beside the table is a
wooden chair and over the table, hanging from the deck above, is an unlit hooded lantern. Also hanging from the deck above,
at the aft end of the cabin, is a large cage in which there is a parrot, apparently asleep. Next to the porthole hangs a hammock,
apparently unoccupied. Beneath it is a brassbound, wooden sea chest.
The cabin appears to be unoccupied (except for the parrot).

"Perhaps the chest would contain the information you suggested." Brax motions to the chest and then to Drake. "Who might you be?" She approaches the Parrot with interest, she'd seen birds but not many on cages..

Suddenly, the bird flaps its wings and starts to scream: pieces of eight, pieces of eight!. Then it rustles its feathers and puts its head under its wing again.

The half elf let's out a little laugh and admires the bird. "Funny, I expected the captain to quarter above, rather than below.. The mages quarters perhaps?"

"Blah!" Gustas grumbles in surprise of the parrots' cries. "Not another pet yer taking?".
Without further word to the others the man's feet can be heard shuffling over to the pewter vessels on the table to inspect them, Gustas holds his jug from earlier up against the new ones to compare them with squinting eyes.

Kulop immediately is found near the chest looking on it from all sides. "Well, it is asking us to open it. We must comply... mustn't we?" he looks at the others his eyes glittering.

The pewter mug and jug are of a little better quality than the one in the sailor's quarter, but not elaborate or decorated. The jug smells of overripe apples.
The chest Kulp is eying looks like any other sailor's chest.

"Nay not a mage, but a brewer. Tryin' to make cider 'ere but this ha'n't been done right at all!" Gustas exclaims extending the pewter jug for the others to sniff.
