Jenara wrote:"So do we have a plan?" Arei feels the coins in her hand, she needed to exchange them for something else... But what?
Val offers up a suggestion.
"Maybe easier to carry a statue."
"I need some things, anyone want to go to market?"

Ouragana turns to Val: "You're right, a statue is easier to carry, but I doubt we would be able to pay a room or a meal with it."
"I will come with you, maybe I find something I could use, too."
Is there a place in town where they could exchange gold for platinum pieces?

It occurs to Ouragana that the best place to exchange money would likely be the jeweler, Hubert Diamondeye.

"Yes, the statue would have been better, but we needed money now, I am all but broke." Standing she heads to the door. "I am going to track down Tia, meet me here for luncheon?" She asks the group, before opening the door.

"Good, I need food and I want to look at leather belts. We can see the little man after."
She securely fastens her purse and says "I ready"

"Me too" Ouragana joins Val. One of the advantages of her dress style is that the folds leave plenty of room to hide purses and the like.

"I guess I'll gather information about the ruins then," Jocelyn says to herself. With a shake of her head as she is left by herself again, she walks out of the tavern to heads for the temple.

Dahn, who had been spacing out on vague thoughts, pops up. " 'Ragana, Val, wait up a moment, I'm coming with you." he says, catching up to them as quickly as his legs will allow.

Ouragana stops dead in her tracks. "I'm not sure I want a male gnome to advise me and my friend on buying jewellery" she says bluntly.

While the others discuss whether a gnome is qualified for jewelry shopping or not, Areilon and Jocelyn head downstairs to the common area. However, there is no sign of Tialis anywhere.
Jocelyn steps out and heads for the local temple of Gonto. It's an impressive structure, even more so on the inside than the outside. Almost everything has been painted gold, which Jocelyn recognizes as being symbolic for the gold found within the earth, sometimes known as 'Gonto's Bounty.'
She also recognizes that Gonto's holy day is Rockday, tomorrow. This explains why the temple is relatively empty today, Lightday. She spots a couple of initiates, one counting money and another taking down notes on a scroll of paper. She also spots an older dwarf wearing the green vestments of a priest of Gonto. She recognizes that he's low-ranking, a 'kohen' which is about the equivalent of a pastor like Noah in her own faith.

Jocelyn walks up to the old dwarf, figuring he would be the one to talk to about the ruins. The others looked busy, so it probably wasn't the best idea to bother them. "Excuse me, Kohen?" she asks.

Heading to the bar Arei puts on her best smile. \"My good man.\" She says approaching the Dwarf. \"I was looking the Elven Lady who was here earlier, do you have any idea where she might be?\"

Temple of Gonto
The old dwarf turns to face her, and looks up in mild surprise. "Hmm? Ah, hello there, dearie. What's this, an acolyte of Octhanus? Have you come to convert?" he asks, his grin revealing he was jesting. "Name's Dalaim Truestone, Kohen of Gonto. What can I do for you?"

The bartender puts down the glass he was polishing. "Elf lady? Oh! You mean the bounty hunter," he says. "She's not here?" He looks around the room. "Eh, must have left. She either went out or back up to her room, I wager. No telling what that type is up to."

Jocelyn cracks a small smile at the dwarf's jest. "I am Acolyte Jocelyn Blaine, and I caught wind of some tribal people are messing with some ruins that you are looking into," she explains. "I was wondering if you had anymore information."

\\\"What I assumed.\\\" Resting her elbows on the bar she smiles wider. \\\"Tell me, a smart Dwarf like you would have his ear to the ground, what do you know of these murders?\\\" She asks, \\\"A glass of wine, if I can please?\\\" She adds.
