"Damn, the living ones keep raising their own as undead!" warns Gaheris. He nocks another arrow and looses it at point blank range at the newborn zombie (z2), hoping to rekill it. He wasn't sure if it could be reanimated again or not, but it was the bigger threat at the moment. Hopefully Jasmin can take out the one who reanimated it for him.

Zurgo shot his partner a glance in spit of the oncoming assault. "Jasmin, I'll leave the mancer to you," he gripped his axe in front now. "Fliegen,Winzorn!" gusts of wind seemed to guide his axe towards his foe, Zurgo kept his distance however, backing until his back was to the fence. (+1/+1 to axe as a swift, attack s1, 5foot step to 22T).

"I'm coming, Gaheris!" Jasmine calls out as she closes the distance between herself and the minion on the ground. Once she finally manages to reach it, she attacks with her swords without hesitating. "Die, you bastard!"

Noticing that the enemy had all moved away from him, Benjamin breaks into a sprint across the road. His skinny and unmuscular legs burn a little as he rushes towards the fence, dropping the pitchforks that he'd meant to use to defend himself in case he was caught alone. Short of reaching the fence and seeing Zurgo fighting valiantly, he moves into a crouch to avoid missile fire.

Gaheris nocks another arrow and plants it in the zombie, however it doesn't fell the zombie again. In fact, the arrow seems fairly ineffective, not even breaking the zombie's slow shambling towards him. Then, the world goes dark for him. He thinks that he sees a cultist darting away from the building on the ground below. However, more worrying is the moan of "braaaiiinss," as the zombie approaches him, it's dark silhouette barely visible in the swirling black that surrounds him.
Nearby Jasmine runs up to the cultist that's been raising it's allies as undead. In a quick exchange she gives him a cut on his shoulder and a large gash in his left side, but he stumbles away from her and in cants a spell, covering the area in darkness and disappearing. She's on the edge of this cloud of darkness however, so she can see two more cultists running at her from behind. One of these points at her, causing a bolt of dark energy to fly towards her, however his aim is poor and it goes wide and high, disappearing into the cloud of darkness harmlessly.
Zurgo smashes his axe into the skeleton's out stretched arm, his blow goes strait through its arm, and its body, crumpling the skeleton on the ground as a pile of damaged bones and dust. The blow wasn't as easy as cutting through most foes Zurgo has fought before, and may have dulled his axe a bit, but his sheer power seemed to be enough this time. One more skeleton approaches him in a fighting stance.
Meanwhile Benjamin, Ishan and Kanock keep moving towards the battle as it unfolds.
Gaheris shoots at z2 (point blank): 25 vs AC, hit, 0 damage (5 piercing resist).
Zurgo uses Arcane strike to gain +1 hit and damage.
Zurgo attacks s1: 15 vs AC, hit, 8 damage (5 slashing resist). s1 is destroyed.
Zurgo takes a 5 foot step to T22.
Jasmine moves to Y11 and attacks m2: 16 and 18 vs AC, both hit, 1 damage + 6 damage. m2 is critically wounded.
Benjamin double moves to U26 and crouches.
Ishan double moves to S27.
Kannock double moves to U23
(cows move)
s2 moves to V19 and redies an attack.
z1 moves to Z12, z2 moves to w8.
m2 shifts to Y8 and casts Darkness, dissappearing. (Unless a player has dark vision or some similar power, they can't see farther then 5ft in this darkness.)
m5 moves to AB13 and casts Dark Bolt on Jasmine: 4 vs Touch, miss.
m6 double moves to Y11.

"Ben! Get to that cloud and help them! i'll clear the path!" Zurgo called over the fence, not quite expecting his blow to fell his foe that easily, however.
"tough little nobodies, guess i need something a little...schärfer!" his axe glowed with arcane power, and he advanced on the second skeleton, spinning to the left at the last second to deliver a backhanded blow.
(arcane strike as a swift, move to 18U and attack s2)

"Bastard," Jasmine muttered. Though, she couldn't worry about the minion in the darkness as she had two more heading her way. She smiled towards them as she turned her attack on guy coming up behind her. (M6)

"As long as you've got it covered," Benjamin replies, hopping out of cover and over the short gate. He can't make close enough without completely exposing himself, and his tiny weapon will be of little help against creatures of bone. The drow have a spell they are taught from early age to mark those in the darkness, but Ben recognizes it as magical darkness, assuming their caster has some skill to speak of and that his skill be be useless.
With few good options, he simply rushes to Jasmine and Gaheris' aid, brandishing his lute. "Think thee well your next move, skinless horrors," he recommends, "Unless you are looking for a bone-tingling tune."
(Double-move to U14)

Putting his bow away for now, Gaheris draws his club instead. He takes a swing at the zombie when it comes within range.

Gaheris hasn't quite got a read on his shambling foe yet, at one moment it's slow and predictable, then it makes a sudden jolt of movement and catches him with a powerful blow, throwing off his balance long enough that he can't land a return swing against the zombie.
Jasmine turns and cuts down the cultist behind her, just to get stabbed in the back by the one that disappeared into darkness. Fortunately for her, the cultist isn't strong enough to push his dagger through her armour, so she remains unharmed. THis is especially good, seeing as it seems to be dripping with some sort of poison. Further worrying is that the cultist she just slew rises up again, with a little encouragement, and looks even angrier this time. The fact that he's missing flesh doesn't make it any less intimidating.
Zurgo, benjamin and kannock all move closer to the battle. Zurgo passes by a skeleton on the way and with a backhand he parries the skeletons blow and distroys it in one swing. Kannock gets up into the personal space of the cultist at the back, who attempts to stab him, fails, and backs off disappearing into darkness. This however isn't very effective against the dwarf, who can see him just fine.
Ishan steps just inside the field and starts firing his shortbow rapidly at the zombie on the ground. His first shot falls short, but his second one goes strait through the zombies head, leaving a hole all the way through. This doesn't stop the zombie from shambling over to Benjamin however. Approaching the drow, the zombie announces it's intention of eating his brains.
Zurgo moves to U18, triggering s2's redied attack: 8 vs AC, miss.
Zurgo uses his arcane pool to make his weapon +1, and attacks s2: 20 vs AC, hit, 9 damage (5 slashing resist). s2 is destroyed.
Jasmine attacks m6: 21 and 14 vs AC, both hit, 2 damage + 2 damage. M6 is slain.
Benjamin double moves to U14.
Gaheris switches to a club and attacks z2: 5 vs AC, miss.
Kannock double moves to AB14.
Ishan moves to X23 and shoots at z1: 8 and natural 20 vs AC, one critical for 4 damage (5 piercing resist). z1 is slightly wounded.
(cows move)
z1 moves to V14, z2 attacks Gaheris: 17 vs AC, hit, 6 damage.
m2 takes a 5ft step to Y9, raises a body into s3 and attacks Jasmine: 15 vs AC, miss.
m5 attacks Kannock: 9 vs AC, miss.
m5 casts darkness and disappears into it.
(Note: in my notes at the bottom of the map I only indicate damage to enemies, damage to players is recorded directly in the Player Character thread.)

Gaheris will take a five foot step to the north (X6) and then use his grappling hook and rope to descend the roof to the ground (Y6), hoping that the zombie won't be coordinated enough to follow (unless it jumps). This also puts him in a position to sap the minion fighting Jasmin, assuming she can keep his attention occupied so he doesn't see Gaheris' approach. Taking a prisoner alive might prove useful, if he can pull it off.

"hey you rotting bone-bag! i got your brains RIGHT HERE!" Zurgo announces as he runs to Benjamin's side, demonstrating his promise with a overhand chop to the head with the still flashing axe. (Arcane strike, move to 15U, chop brains)

Ishan grunts at his weapons lack of effect and moves towards the barn while priming a bomb, once closer he takes aim and throws the explosive into the darkness while trying to pick out the minion.
Even through his cynicism he still enjoys a good fight and yells, "Lets see you walk this off!"
(Move to y18, perception check, bomb throw at AB13)

Jasmine takes a step towards the left in hopes of not having either the skeleton or minion behind her. "This way," she says as she swings at the skeleton with her swords. "They keep raising by themselves after you kill them!"

With a zombie encroaching so close, the roots of Benji's hair stand on end, ready to attack. Although he's not particularly interested in showing that off just yet, there seems to be no alternative; that is of course, until a certain Orc closes in. "My thanks, I think I'll need use of my brain in the future. Allow
The bard looks for an opening to use his spell, but finds none, instead deciding to stumble away from his current enemy and begin to play. The performance seems to cut through the battlefield's clatter, as if it's on another channel altogether.
"Be brave and fight hard, my fellows,
for lands of greens and fields of yellows,
our path leads onwards, we'll not tarry long,
your blades as swift as this humble song,"
