"Well... I don't like complex games with so many rules and mind battles, buzzes and whistles, but if you have a simple game based on pure luck, I think I'd like to join a game or two. And bring me also a goblet of fine wine to drink to my success." Baeros looks back at Val and says, "Lets stay here for a while and if the rain won't stop we will head to the stores anyway." then he adds cheerfully "Meanwhile, would you like to see me win some coins? If I win your next drinks are on me."

Val is brought another ale and Baeros is brought a glass of fine wine.

Baeros holds up his glass, breath in the aroma and takes a small sip. Satisfied, he walks to watch the on going games. Knowing he has no talent for mind breaking games, he looks for simple games where instincts and intuition works for him. 'I better not spend more than two hours here waiting for the rain to stop.' he thinks to himself. Finding a dice rolling game he waits for his turn and places 1 gp bet.
================================================================================
OOC: Baeros plans to start with the lowest bet for few games and don't lose more than 20gp. In aspect of time he plans to wait two hours at most for the rain to stop or dwindle. Do you want me to roll something or would you do the rollings?

"Sure" Val says. "I will watch a bit and see if I get the rules first."

Baeros and Val take their drinks with them and find a room where a small group of people (four) are playing a simple dice game--based just on luck, rather than smarts or skill.
Baeros joins them, while Val watches. The game is simple enough. Each player makes their bet. Then they all roll a dice. The person with the highest roll wins the pot.
After two hours of play, Baeros comes out completely even. He hasn't earned or lost any money, largely because he kept his bets small each time. However, it is still raining outside and yet it's still not time for the party to meet at Areilon's yet, either.

During the game Baeros consumes few more glasses. When two bells have passed Baeros looks at Val and says, "Err... well... at least I haven't lost anything... What do you say? Risk getting wet and go to the stores right now or wait for tomorrow?"
=========================================
OOC: Baeros bought 3 more wine glasses.

During the game, Baeros adds three more glasses of wine to his ever growing tab. All of that wine has now dulled Baeros' already less than sharp senses. He feels slightly buzzed as he waits for Val's answer.
==============
Baeros makes a CON check on his second glass of wine with a -3 penalty [12] (
1d20): 8, pass.
Baeros makes a CON check on his third glass of wine with a -6 penalty [09] (
1d20): 2, pass.
Baeros makes a CON check on his fourth glass of wine with a -9 penalty [06] (
1d20): 16, fail.
Baeros is now slightly drunk ('tipsy') and suffers a -1 to INT and WIS.

"What the hell, I'll have some more and try my luck as well" She says. She digs out some gold and starts to gamble too. Val waves the barkeep over for more beer.

The hours are whittled away as the two gamble and drink.
Eventually, night falls and the rain finally stops. The party gathers in Areilon's suite for their scheduled meeting.
Areilon's suite is quite large, with a large bed, a built in bathroom with magical bath and clothes cleaner, and a balcony that overlooks the sea with a perfect view of the sun setting.
Areilon also has a table with chairs in the center of the spacious room, which serves the party quite well in hosting their little meeting. Areilon herself is now all clean and washed, her hair shimmering and is wearing one of her nicer dresses. Andar attends, as well, looking much more hale and healthy now that he's had some rest.
=============
It is now 7:30 PM.
(OOC: How much money that was won or lost gambling depends on how much you bet, and how many bets you made. You can let me know, or just say that they broke even again.)

"When we are done with this, we have been invited to join a crew of sailors in the main room for dinner," Jocelyn says as she settles down in a chair. "Naturally, you don't have to come," she adds. "The captain is a friar of Octhanus, so I'm curious how he managed to get where he is."

Still a bit woozy Baeros says, "Don't be sssilly. Obviously we will come to eat... And... err... what was I saying... oh right, this fellow healed Andar so probably all want to meet him." he nods to his friends few times. "You know Val, I think I discovered a way to beat the gambling game... I can't put the finger exactly on it..." he tries to press his finger on the corner of the table, but miss it, then recovers and continues "but it has to do with changing the amount of the bet every several loses. Like the moon phase that is changing. We need to learn from nature. The moon never lost a bet so far, right?"

"That will have been because it never did bet" Ouragana comments Bearos's speech drily.
Then she turns to the rest of the group. "Have any of you explored the town? I have been out to the mage's guild, hoping to get new spells for the new strength I feel I have gained. but they are costly, and that brings me to an important thing we need to discuss.
What about the money we found with the dead elven woman? Is ours to use? What if she has family in town, shouldn't we tell them about her fate? I have been given directions to where her shop was, but I haven't gone there yet, I first want to have an agreement with you all on the matter."

"Well, at least one of us has a date tonight," Areilon says to Jocelyn coyly. She then looks to Ouragana. "Oh, yes...I had forgotten about that. You still have the lockbox, yes, Andar?" she asks, leaning forward.
"I have it here," Andar replies, setting it on the table.

OOC: Just call it a wash.
Val enters and calmly takes a seat. She looks for something to drink. "Gambling is just that, the more you wager, the more you stand to lose."
"As for dinner, I will defiantly join you Jocelyn. I am still hungry. I need to replenish my energy."
As the topic turns to the business at hand she continues. "We didn't make it out about town, just relaxed for the afternoon. I want to do some shopping, see what might be available for different armor." She looks around the table as the lockbox is placed on the table. "Perhaps we should open it first, before we decide what to do with it?" She questions.
"We ought to figure out transport as well before we end up out of gold." Val adds off hand.

"Return it, you know, if she has any family here in town," Jocelyn says before she looks to Arei and shakes her head. "It isn't a date," she adds. "We also need to decide on what we are going to do when it comes to my problem. I was hoping to catch up to the Bullring, but they are mostly gone from Immerfort at this point."
