Gustas noisily walks along the corridors after Drake, his feet striking the wood with little grace. "What are the pack of ya gonna do with this now en? I know what I'd do with a little old boat." the heavy man rambles.

Stepping aboard the vessel Brax looks resplendent in her clerical vestments, the long flowing cloak hangs behind her, the shiny silver chainmail visible under the yellow tunic, her red trousers reach down to her boots.

"Shall we see what they have found shall we?" Her full lips flash a smile to the halfling.

"Oh... Maybe they have found another treasure box like I did!!" he claps happily. "Or another crazy colorful lizard!" Kulop quickly guides Brax to the room where he was poisoned, and then follows the open doors calling, "Drake! I'm here! Coming to help you!".

"Treasure box?" The half drow asks with raised eyebrows. "I have learnt that treasure isnt always what you think..." Surveying the room her hand rests on the hilt of her mace.

"Down here," calls Martin.
"Not much to see, so far. A few papers which we should review carefully, cargo manifests, estimates of value. But this might be what we need to play that most important of all games in the investigatoring business: 'Follow the Money'."

"Money?" Brax asks appearing from the doorway, "You are obsessed with money."

"Err.. well... a box full of shiny coins seems treasure enough for me." Kulop says happily, "And so does your company." he smiles.

"You wound me, Radiant One; you wound me to the bone. You don't play Follow the Money to get the money. You play it to find the villain. Because when there is a crime like this, profit is typically the motive, and ultimately the profits are going into his hands. Find out who is making money off this, and you find your bad guy. Q.E.D. "

"Villain? They always down pub with the treasure." Gustas helpfully contributes, he takes a moment to process the arrival of the two others, "Ahh good to see back on two feet there!" he says loudly, clapping his vessel against his thigh.

"Company?" The half elf's red eyes flash with amusement, "We left my company back at the house. The jester here is along for the ride, you.." She gives Gustas a small bow, her silver skin shining. "Celandra Brax."

"Wound you Master Jester?" Her laugh fills the hold, "I meant no such thing. You have paper? We should collect it, the treasure.. I suggest we count the coins, take expenses, and divide the rest between helping to bolster the village and the church." Watching Drakes face the corners of her mouth curl up in a grin. "I'm sure that will be acceptable "

"We will have to follow the trail, wherever it leads." Scanning the room she continues.. "Where was Kulop here injured? And yes, Pelor saved him, we should all be thankful."

"Begging your pardon, Radiance, but which church? There are several, and before we are making charitable donations, we had best figure out a way to be inclusive and fair about it, lest we offend some peevish deity inadvertently, no?
"Of course, since I have always considered my body to be a temple, or at least a well-run parochial youth recreation center....
"But enough of that. We have more weighty matters to consider than the distribution of a few coins. The game is afoot, let us run this trail down."

"Ay Braxy, Gustas" He nods while his thick thumb jabs into his chest. "Kulop here was hurt up stairs there, but where is this papers gonna lead ya to? Is it a map?"

"Pelor of course. The Deity who has helped with the mess these people gave caused." She glares at the Jester with a slight glint in her eye. "Brax." She corrects Gustas. "I believe he us suggesting the paperwork will indicate both who accepted shipments, who sent them, and what they are."

"Has anyone looked through those doors?"
