CH. 5: The Sending is Coming from Inside the House

Jocelyn lets out a small sigh, and joins the others just as Areilon leaves. "So, we need to solve this murder," she says determinedly

[Nuke]

OOC:: Boy, you guys moved fast today as well.

Val orders breakfast, not really up to much conversation.

At some point she does point out, however, "A murderer in town sure does dampen the spirits." noting the general mood.

She begins to figure the groups next task, avenging Brock's daughter, Maronna.

[Breila]

Ouragana nods at Val's remark. "The sad thing is that the authorities only acted seriously after someone well known was killed" she says. "Maybe deaths could have been prevented with quicker action."

She turns to Hubert and Frisno. "What are people saying about the murders now? Are there people they suspect, besides the miller, of course?"

[JadedDM]

"As far as I know, the miller and his family are the only suspects at the moment," Hubert says. "It's possible the Wardens suspect others, and just aren't telling the general public, though."

[Jenara]

Arei knocks on the door of room ten softly. "Hello?"

[JadedDM]

There is no answer, even after several minutes of waiting.

[Jenara]

Pushing the door gently Arei checks if it is locked.

She has no picks, and with her poor pick locks it would be useless.

Can she hear anything? Detect noise 36 just failed.

[JadedDM]

The door is locked, and Areilon can hear nothing, even when pressing her ear against the door.

[Jenara]

"Somethings wrong..." She mutters, there must be another key.. Turning around she heads backstairs.

[Nuke]

Val continues to eat breakfast, and drinking enough juice to fill her stomach.

"How do we do this?" she asks of no one in particular.

"There must be some evidence somewhere."

[HorizonsDream]

"Well, we should probably check around the miller's place," Jocelyn says. "There might be some clues there."

[Breila]

"Areilon and me have searched for evidence before the last murder, we found next to nothing. I took some notes, let me check them." Her breakfast finished, Ouragana heads back to her room.

[Jenara]

Passing Oura on the Stairs Arei shakes her head, "Something is wrong, I think Tia maybe in trouble." With that she heads down to the common room once more.

"When was the last time you saw Tia? Sorry, the Elf in room ten? I am worried something is wrong, she might be hurt... How would that look, you are in charge and one of the guests were injured?" She says to the waiter. "Allow me to help? Do you perhaps have a spare key?"

[JadedDM]

"Last saw her? I guess...a few days ago? I'm not sure," the waiter admits. He considers what Areilon says and places his fists upon his hips. "I can't be held accountable if she gets hurt, just because she's a guest here...can I?" He seems unsure, and then becomes nervous. "I suppose I could check her room, but she might get mad if everything's fine. She looked kind of dangerous, too."

"Then let me come with you. You can say it was my idea, if she gets mad at someone, it will be at me." She grins, placing q hand on his shoulder.
