Gunter drops a newly cleaned bone onto the plate in front of him with a 'clank' and allows himself a short burp before picking up another one. Thoughtfully, he points it at Searos and replies, "You know, sometimes slaves need to be smuggled."

"Indeed they do Gunter, you think there is a connection?" She asks the Ranger, a glint in her eyes.

Searos snorts a bit as he quaffs some of his cider. "Sometimes just about everything needs to be smuggled. Though, slaves are certainly high on that list."

"If they are connected, it makes good business sense on their part. Pick up silks, spices and whatever else brings a good price at Saltmarsh and then make a quick trip down the coast to Dunreese and grab some slaves. In my experience with these types in Narwell they don't really like to share their territory which makes me think it's one group running this area."

Vee also eats of the ox and the Vegetables. Her mouth still half filled she adds:
"Maybe these young man just saw the smugglers and they cause they were curios? I mean, if I were a smuggler and some young man sneak around my hide I'll be worried and kidnap them. And sell them as slaves, because they're already there."

"The two things may be connected, but we shouldn't jump to any conclusions yet," Amon advises. "In any case," he adds, standing up, "I'm going to turn in now."
"Me, too," Echo says, getting up as well.

"Indeed we shouldn't jump to any conclusions." She stands as Echo and Amon go to leave, "Good night." She reaches to take Amon's hand, "Sleep well."
With that she sits back down next to Gunter, her hand resting on his leg, "Another Drink?" She asks the group.

Gunter stifles a yawn before it can escape and raises his hand to the barmaid, requesting another round of drinks for the table.
"Well, we should probably do the responsible thing and turn in...but I didn't become an adventurer to do the responsible thing all the time did I?" He winks at the dark elf.
When the drinks come, he raises his mug, "To Dunreese...and new friends"

As Amon and Echo retire, Kim stands up too. "I think I will prepare a light spell tomorrow, we might need it in a cavern, what do you think?"

"I still have nine torches remaining, although I suppose having a spell of illumination as back-up, just in case, is prudent. However...who said anything about caverns?" Amon asks.

"Good night Kim." Brax responds, her hand not moving, "Indeed, to new friends." She raises her glass.
"We have no idea what we will encounter, do we?" Brax smiles at Amon, "It would be best to be prepared."
"Doing the sensible thing is not always the most suitable thing." She says with a grin, letting her arms fall free.

"Oh, you're right" Kim answers Amon. "Somehow, I assumed that the cliffs here would have caves like they do near Saltmarsh, and that we would be likely to have to search them.
What spells would you suggest, then?"

"Well, we still don't know what we might run into, or who. Although that spell you learned from Sanbalet might prove useful if Master Searos is correct and we run into slavers or smugglers," Amon suggests.
"Have a good night, everyone," he says, before heading to bed. Echo heads to her own room.

"Good suggestion, I will do that. It's always nice to use a spell one has succumbed to on an enemy." A ghostly smile creeps upon Kim's face. Turning around, the mage decides to go to bed as well.
"Good night from me, too" Kim calls to the rest of the group and follows the other two upstairs.

"Strangely i am not tired in the least." Brax says with a wide grin. Looking at the other three. "Let us enjoy this while we can."
