The Sarcophagus Legion VI

"If we left him, he would be safe? The Khan needs a son I suppose, so he wouldn't hurt him.... What if we got a message to him, told him you were safe and that you would come back for him?" The kender asks as she jumps on her bed, bouncing up and down, topknot bouncing.

[HorizonsDream]

"Malik is his only son and that would make him his heir," Imani explains to Locky. "So he would be safe. He would be groomed on how to rule. Sending a message to him would be pointless. He is only four years old. He wouldn't understand. He would just know that his mother is gone."

[Jenara]

"Is there someone you can trust? Someone who you could get a message to?" Locky asks, still bouncing, "I'd still like to go there, personally."

[JadedDM]

"Maybe there's some kind of magic one of you spellcasters could use that might get us in there?" Ulster asks.

[HorizonsDream]

"The only one I was actually close to was Syriana, and now she is gone," Imani says to Locky. "The rest of them, while we bonded, would most likely tell the Khan that I did send Malik a message. Besides, once again, I doubt a message would even help things when it comes to Malik. It would probably only confuse him more. "

[Jenara]

"It appears i will need to do some work. Imani knows the palace, and Locky is the best at stealth." Jerrard rubs his chin, "There is perhaps one other, a possible ally, I will know more later, please just trust me for now."

"Ulster, Thuskar, I think we should go in disguise, perhaps waiting nearby."

"Bab, you are just as good at stealth, and you have a way with Witchen, I would think that you could rescue her, but can we risk you for a steed?"

"I'll go, it sounded fun even before he knew we were coming!" knowing no fear the Kender grins widely, still bouncing.

[Breila]

"If it was for the horses only, I think I would be able to go for Wittchen. But I fear that, if the Khan wants to get back at us for stealing Syriana and the possiblilty of raising the Sarcophagus Legion - and stealing you, Imani - " Babushka looks the desert woman in the eyes, "he will keep her watched, to serve as an indicator that we are back. He will probably want to see us dead for thwarting his plans. If he knew we were after his heir..."
The gnome ranger shifts uncomfortably. "On the other hand, I'm all for freedom, for people do be allowed to take their lives in their own hands, like I did, and the rest of you too, probably. But I honestly do not see a way to get the Khan's heir out of the palace short of finding discontent citizens and helping an uprising"

[Jerrard]

"I am loth to give up, to be honest." Jerrard looks off to the distance, could Malika help them? A strange thing to ask of one you have just met, but then she asked him to free her. It was all so confusing, his head was in a spin.

"I don't know what to do for the best." He admits after a few moments, "We lost Syriana, I didn't want that to happen. I, well we can't save everyone. What a great bunch of Heroes we turned out to be." Placing his head in his left hand, his right grasps the Vizers ring.

[HorizonsDream]

Imani looks between the group then sighs. "I...I guess the decision is really up to me in the end," she says sadly. "I need to think about all of this," she says.

[Jenara]

"Ok." Locky gives a sad face, "I want to help." She looks at Jerrard with a smile. "Actually you might be able to help me with something, see the Brothel place with the bath has Kender working there, and well I don't really like that Idea and they probably don't too.... I wanted to know if someone could go in and find them...?"

[HorizonsDream]

Imani turns to walk out of the room to head back to her own. Despite the veil hiding her features, her eyes show how sad she really is about all of this. Not to mention the fact that she is questioning how good of a mother she really is at this point.

[Jerrard]

Jerrard stops Imani for a brief moment, "You will do what is best for all, and we will support you." He smiles "You have us now." His hand falls near her but does not touch her, respecting her boundaries. "We will be here when you decide."

"...Thanks," Imani says as she leaves.

[Jerrard]

"Kender in a Brothel?" He asks as she leaves, "Babuskha is that right?"

[Breila]

"We have been told so, yes" Babushka tells Jerrard. When Locky was refused to enter, the woman who had opened the door said no kender were accepted there except the two - a man and a woman - that were working there and kept in cages at all other times." Babushka shudders. "There is so much injusstice in the world... I begin to see why my mentor simply kept to his hut in the woods, with only animals as company... and me."
