Chapter 1 - Waterdavian Affairs

Sue notes that the door has a very solid drop-bar behind it that could be lowered in an instant to close off the outside world. The room, perhaps 10' square has dark-wood paneling and and subdued lighting from no visible source.
Across the room seated at a leather-bound desk is an elegant looking moon elf, tiny silver chain extending from nose to ear, dressed is a high-necked evening gown. She rises gracefully and indicates that Sue should take a seat in one of the two leather armchairs on his side of the desk. The lady's own chair is ornamented dark-wood that matches the paneling.
"What service may we provide for you, Goodsir?"

The room is filled with subdued harp music, pleasant and unobtrusive, from no discernible source. There are two leather-worked doors behind the desk, one to the left and one to the right.

"Are there any specials today?"

She smiles expansively, "We may offer all that is special, Gentlesir, from a match wrought in the Heavens to journeying with Knights of pleasure and pain to ascend the peaks Desire and Desperation. Allow me to enquire, is Gentlesir a member?"

At this point, if they wish to do so, Nix and/or Alecia enter.

Tristen is going to be somewhat spotty over the nexy few days.

Alecia steps inside her eyes scanning the room as she passes the door frame, catching sight of the woman she takes a deep breath and Involuntarily pushes her chest out, she had no idea why but women like that made her feel like she had to complete.

"Good day Madame." Giving the woman a sharp smile she leads Nix inside.

The moon elf smiles warmly at Nix and Alecia, her gown doing little to conceal the gentle movement and form of her graceful body*, "Gentlesir, Gentledam, my apologies, this meeting room is occupied but more can be found* to either he left or the right." She indicates outside to the left and right with a double hand movement** that incidentally accentuates the elven bust.

"Certainly." Alecia replies, making a motion of her own as she decides on a room, with that she looks to the right and drags Nix that way. "Sorry to trouble you, my 'friend' and I were looking for someone to umm.. share. Our Bodyguard was making sure it was safe. That is possible here isnt it?" Trying to hide the utter embarrassment she felt Alecia pulls Nix away, grinning at his face.

When he hears bodyguard, Sue smirks behind his tusks.

The Moon elf smiles very warmly, and nods her head while bowing apologetically, "My misunderstanding, Gentledam, Gentlesir. Here all things may be possible. Please, be seated."
She indicates the two free chairs, the warm promise of her eyes encompassing Alecia and Nix, no longer lingering on Sue.

"So, Gentledam, what is the nature of your pleasure? Will your.. bodyguard be joining with you? And are the Gentledam, or Gentlesir, members?"

"That depends." Alecia suggests taking a seat and motioning for Nix to do the same.. "No.. no.. we aren't members, I've never.. We've never even thought of this before." Blushing for real she watches the woman for a moment.

"Could you tell me a little about this place? What do you offer, does it cost to be a member..? Is it discreet?" She fixes her gaze on the woman, keeping her hands in sight.

"Genntledam, quite literally your pleasure is our business and we take pride in your fulfilment without the ken of others. Membership is ten gold coins per day, seventy for a Tenday or 1800 for the year, each. Costs are additional, of course. Now, is this to include the three of you? And where is the nature of your pleasure?" replies the female elf.

Nix squeezes the priestess' hand when she arrives. He seems a little surprised about the guard bothering them, but smiles at her explanation that everything was alright. Speaking quietly only for her, My patron umm... notified me that there is someone who needs my aid. I spotted him but he got lost in the crowd. I tried to find him but he could have gone anywhere... he didn't seem to be in danger but... i have to find him later.

Nix marvels at the interior, still surprised at everything he sees and mutely goes along with Alecia's lead.

Alecia coughs quite loudly, yet her face betrays emotion, "Who would have thought pleasure was so expensive.. Costs? I assume those are for extra items such as clothing or implements? What exactly would one get for ten gold, forgive me for being crass but this is quite new to me. Could one get you for instance, for the night?"

"And I think our Body guard would be content watching, don't you think?" She winks and returns her attention to the woman while placing a hand on Nix's knee..

She looks Alecia straight in the eyes and leans forwards, "Membership gives one access to our matchmaking services which are reputedly the best in all known Faerun. I am a matchmaker. There are seven meeting rooms such as this, each with a matchmaker. After establishing the member's requirements the matchmaker will make an introduction. Where the member's requirements are social or recreational and not for a lifestyle change then the introduction fee is of the same order as the basic membership fee. Activities beyond the introduction are subject to negotiation between the matched parties. For illustrative purposes only, if a simple matched introduction for an evening were 10 coins then involving three of you, with one observing only would be two and a half times that. If you, for example, wished to be matched specifically to me and if I were available, the fee is multiplied further by 3 or perhaps 4. If you wanted to kiss, then I might ask for twice the total amount. So, is that your desire?"

Nix blushes a little at all of the back-and forth regarding 'matching' and fees. Still, he tries to rely on his street-honed instincts; after all- a man had been killed...

[Can Nix get any kind of read on her? Is she hiding something/ other than she seems?]
