"We, too, went over the gate," Aleaha explains. "Security is surprisingly light."

"I don't think they expect anyone to find them, much less invade them," Lareth points out.

"Perhaps it was Habbakuk's will that we've met here then," Aleaha continues. "We learned of this place from the Baaz that Lareth captured and interrogated. The odds that we would find you here, too, seem astronomical."

"Frankly no, I can summon missiles, put people to sleep, worthless on elves, I can also make copies of myself.. make us faster. I'm thinking." The mage puts his fingers to his lips, "Perhaps Fikod could unlock the door? He is a master thief, is he not?"

"What if I made it quiet, so no one could hear us. We get the door open..." she rubs her head, "But we don't know where our gear is."

"Perhaps we should take a while to check this place out. She liked you men." the Kender adds innocently.

"You can't unlock a door that is locked on the outside," Imani points out to Jerrard. "And if we silence ourselves, they will probably just think we are dead and leave us to rot."

In the hayloft

"Well, Habbakuk certainly has something in mind with me, since he made me his phoenix" Babushka says with a smile. After a pause when she thinks back to their old encounter with the draconians, she adds: "So we are in the dragons' lair now? You see, news of the world doesn't get into Mount Nevermind easily. I know next to nothing about dragons. What would I need to know to help you and my friends?"

"Ahh yes, all good points." The mage rubs his beard, "There must be something I can't see." He glances around, looking both worried and perplexed. He moves to the door and eyes it curiously, how is it fixed exactly?

"Well its worth a try." Frankly this place was starting to get boring, it was horrible and filithy, the smell was getting up her nose in not a nice way... "If I just had a pick, and didnt have this silly armor on.."

(Did they take her pouches in the end?)

The Dungeon
"Even if I could reach the lock, what would I pick it with? My finger?" asks Fikod.

Jerrard examines the door. It's large, rounded at the top, and is made of stone reinforced with steel. There's a small window in the middle that can be used to peek out (or in). The lock is on the outside.

(OOC: Yes, they took Locky's pouches.)

Hayloft
"Dragons are fierce, incredibly dangerous, and very lethal," Aleaha says. "I've faced a few greens in my time. They breathe poisonous gas and can cast a number of spells, not to mention their teeth and claws that can rend flesh easily."

Imani looks to Ulster and Thuskar. "What about you two? Any ideas?"

"So we do not really have the option of combating the dragon pair, do we? We can only hope to snatch my friends away from them" Babushka says. "Of course, the first thing we need to know is where they are, and where our animals are. Do you have any idea?"
After a pause, she adds: "Oh, and do you know if the guards at the gates are true elves or disguised draconians? Is there a way to find out?"

The Dungeon
"I got nothing," Ulster admits.

"We could maybe try and overpower a guard or two, but they always seem to send half a dozen. I don't know, maybe Locky's and Jerrard's magic can disable a few. Not sure how we'll avoid making a big ruckus, though," Thuskar adds.

"We cannot simply leave the dragons here to continue kidnapping people," Aleaha says. "As kirath, it is our responsibility to take care of them."

"We would not expect non-elves like you and your friends to aid us in such an endeavor," Lareth assures her. "We will help you free your friends, then stay alone and fight the dragons ourselves."

"Even if it means our deaths, we are sworn to Habbakuk to protect this forest from the forces of evil," Dara adds.
Breila wrote:"Of course, the first thing we need to know is where they are, and where our animals are. Do you have any idea?"
"Finding your animals will be easy enough once the dragons are defeated and the elves of this village are freed from whatever spell is upon them," Aleaha says. "As for your friends, our scouting revealed that only one building in this village has guards--the large spire in the center. It's safe to assume your friends are being held there."

"Likely, we'll find the dragons somewhere in there, too," adds Lareth.
Breila wrote:"Oh, and do you know if the guards at the gates are true elves or disguised draconians? Is there a way to find out?"
"True elves speak elven, while draconians do not. Even the smarter ones who are proficient in our tongue are easily identifiable. They lack the nuance of our language," Lareth states. "Hearing a non-elf speaking elven is like...listening to someone who is tone deaf sing a song. Even if all of the words are right, it sounds awful to anyone with an ear for music."

"I will stay with you and fight the dragons, since I am sworn to Habbakuk as well" Babushka tells the kirath. "And unless I'm much mistaken, my friends will join the fight if we free them first, I don't think they can be persuaded to stay clear of it - much as I would like them to to keep them alive" she says with a resigned tone in her voice.
"They're probably plotting their escape right now, too. Now, what should we do? Should someone create a diversion so that others can enter the guarded building in secrecy and find my friends?"

"So we really don't have any options that will get us out of here quietly," Imani says with a sigh.

"Well.." Locky murmors, "Perhaps if we got thier attention, got them to come in somehow, and then I could make it silent and the warriors could overpower the guards, we steal their weapons and try to escape? Or..." She looks at Fikod. "Would they notice if myself and Fikod were gone? Perhaps we could create a diversion, the two of us escape, find our things and come back?"

"We'll wait until nightfall," Lareth states. "Nobody will be around except the guards; the last thing we need is to be forced to fight off civilians. We'll then break into the tower and from there, find and free your friends."

Dungeon
"I'm game if you are, lass," Fikod states. "But how will we get out and back in without being noticed?"
