Babushka shakes her head at Jerrard's calling Dekker a »noble steed«. She explains to Jeremy: "I have a donkey stallion who has been my faithful companion and pack animal for a long time. But I rarely ride him, because I would slow him down too much. So Jerrard's idea of buying animals strong enough so Locky and I can mount with someone else is good." She gets up and asks Jeremy: "Shall we go?"

To Babushka Jeremy replies, "Sounds good, perhaps the stable master will know where to find suitable mounts and such as we need." Then to the rest, "We shall return shortly, hopefully with the mounts and pack animals we shall need.", then turns to go.

[Jerrard]

"Good Luck." Jerrard comments, also standing himself, "I will take a look for somewhere suitable."

After paying for their breakfast, Jeremy and Babushka head outside toward the nearby stablehouse where Artemis and Dekker, as well as Jeremy's unnamed gelding, are currently housed.

The stablemaster is a male elf of indeterminable age with short black hair. He is wearing a leather apron and leather boots, and both are encrusted with filth. He recognizes both the gnome and the human at once, as both are rather rare in these parts. "Come to claim your animals?" he asks, dusting off his hands.

"So. They are gone." Locky pouts a little, "Shall we go shopping?" She asks the two women with a pocket full of steel.

[Jerrard]

"Imani." Jerrard says motioning to her, but not touching her. "A moment please?"

Imani looks to Jerrard curiously. "Yes?" she asks.

[Jerrard]

"I aim to give her a small amount of steel." He says quietly looking at Malika "Could you hold some more for me? Its not that I do not trust her, rather than she seems somewhat, obsessed with money."

"Well, I can, but what am I suppose to do with the extra money?" Imani asks curiously.

[Jerrard]

"Give it to her, if she needs it, make it look like a loan to me." He grins, "I do not want her assuming too much. Is that ok?"

"Also, I will take Ulster and Thuskar with me, we will get that armor checked out if we can, and sell the small suit, as no one needs it, why hold onto it." He keeps his distance, having learned his actions had often been misunderstood.

"I don't understand why you are doing this for her," Imani says.

[Jerrard]

"Would you believe me if I said that neither do I?" He chuckles slightly, "Call it a sheltered life, or naivety, but I believe we are all entitled to a second chance, I will give her that, who knows, perhaps she can change." He gives a little gesture with his hands, "I have no illusions to think she likes me."

[HorizonsDream]

"Then, if you know that, why do you keep trying?" Imani asks, clearly confused as to why he would continued to pursue Malika if he knows that she doesn't have an interest in him other than his money. Then again, that makes her even more confused about Ulster's actions towards herself.

[Jerrard]

"A man can dream, can't he?" He says by way of an explanation, shrugging. "You women have power over us men you know? Be it an action, the way you dress, the things you say. Its powerful stuff." He blushes deep red, turning away.

"Besides, if she is with us, we know where she is." He adds.

[HorizonsDream]

"...Right," Imani says. She still seems confused, but she decides not to press the issue anymore. She takes the plate mail and hands it over to Jerrard. "If this isn't cursed, give it to Ulster or Thuskar. It will weigh me down too much I think," she says.
