Roll for starting money for Ouragana:
1d4+1=3, that gives her 30 GP
Will use this to complete her character sheet and mail it to the DM.
The setting "party meets in a tavern" is fine with me, if we are in a port town, Ouragana has probably arrived on a ship that had hired her as a novice storm sorcerer, and then was dumped when the captain found a more experienced one. She would then have her fee (at DM's discretion, I guess) as additional money

.

Some interesting statistics here.
With the exception of Areilon, all of you are chaotic in alignment. Which is why it's so odd you guys (albeit, halfheartedly) chose Vaneil as the starting point, as the whole island is Lawful Neutral. That should...make things pretty interesting. Kind of coincidental, too. The first party I ran in Octhania was also largely Chaotic.
You know something else you guys have in common with the original, pre-scratch Amtar's party? You're all pretty short.

Ouragana and Val tie as the tallest at a 'towering' 5'7" (170 cm). Jocelyn is 5'4" (162 cm), and as an elf, naturally, Areilon is the shortest by far at only 4'11" (150 cm).
How about builds? Areilon is the lightest at 97 lbs (44 kg). This makes her quite tiny, as one might imagine from an elf, but with a fairly 'normal' build for that height. Ouragana is at 110 (50 kg) pounds, which makes her skinny as a reed. At 120 (54 kg) pounds, Jocelyn is a little more normal in build, but still quite thin. Val Urgan is the heaviest at 132 lbs (60 kg), and the most muscular, but not by any means overly so. She's the most 'normal' of the group!
But wait, there's more! Not only are you all fairly short and skinny, but young, too. Technically, Arelion is the oldest at 97, but in human years, that makes her around 17 or so. Which means that the oldest one of the group is really Jocelyn at 19. Ouragana is only 18, and the baby of the group is Val Urgan, at 16.
This is all pretty interesting to me; I wonder if it's coincidence? What's really hilarious is that when Horizon turned her character in, I gave her a bit of good-natured teasing about making her character so young, thin and short. But then it turns out, her character wasn't even the youngest, thinnest or shortest at all, even if you include the elf!
Anyway, Breila's character has been approved. Just one more to go.

It must be coincidence, because at least I did not talk to anyone besides Jaded when I made Ouragana up...

Four women.... lol.

Yes. But the funny thing is, it's not the first time I've run a group of all female PCs. Nor is it the first time someone referred to them as Jaded's Angels (well, actually, last time they were called 'Daos' Angels').

LOL, that is kind of freaky!
Do we need a man to balance it out? If only I could find a good one.

Okay, everyone, I want to announce that xelphyn has joined us as a fifth player.
For starters, xelphyn, I suggest you check out
Invisible Castle, and possibly bookmark it. It's a dice rolling website that we use in my games. You can roll dice on it, then post the results here so we can see them.
Step one for character creation is to use Invisible Castle to roll up your character (3d6, arrange as you like). Post the results here, and declare your character's race and class. Then we'll move on to step two.

Okay, looks good.
Step two is to roll for your starting money and your spells.
Your starting money is 2d6x10 gold pieces. You can also start the game with six spells already learned. You'll need to roll for each spell, though. You have a 75% chance to learn any spell from the Illusion school, but only a 45% to learn anything from any other school. Further, your character cannot know any spells from the schools of Necromancy, Invocation/Evocation, or Abjuration.
Once you've turned in all of those dice rolls, we can move on to step three.

are you going to allow arquebuses?

Arquebuses and flint-lock pistols are allowed, yes.
I think there was some confusion with the spell rolls. You only needed to roll for the spells you wanted, not every one in the book. And you can only start with six spells total for now.
