Ok, I'll base Karl's actions on the idea that Mira's spell works.

With Mira I am trying to show someone with mental health issues, she struggles with self esteem, shes rash, doubts herself and similar. Its all hidden under the brash exterior where she over compensates, gives too much and generally makes a show of herself.

I hope I am mananging to get that idea across, Mira is a lot like me (apart from her hair and a two areas of her figure!).

I think you are doing a good job on that.

I really like how the forum medium allows for play like that.

If someone was that hesitant in a RL game where we get to play for 4 hours every week or less, it would be frustrating, in our RL games we are all supermen who want to blast through everything.

But here I don't feel bad when Pyros' dickering around takes a few extra actions to make things happen.

Also it might have something to do with the GM who cultivates that kind of interaction. - My preference of the RP on the forum medium that is.

Yes, I agree that character exploration is more easily facilitated in pbp games without hampering the action. Although i have gone too far to both sides in the past, haha
