Chapter 1 - Waterdavian Affairs

[Nocturno]

"From the smell of his clothes he was around the Docks, alot. Possibly confined somewhere... his underclothes were used both backdwards and inside out several times."

He won't be sure why he is sharing so much with this lady, but then again, it's not like he has his squad to lean on for figuring these things out... normally he was the one they used to scare the information out of the mark.

Traveling along the main streets Alecia and Sue are perhaps two thirds of the way to the Hanging Lantern.

[Jenara]

,"Locked up? He was locked up?" Alecia asks with a curious look, "May I ask? You are a Watchman I get that, it's your job to do this. I'm just a lowly Priestess, I have a few spells but I can't be much use.. Nixie, he knows the Docks, he'll be back soon enough."

[Nocturno]

"Locked up? No, probably not since he had the clothes and underwear in his residence... Maybe hiding, or observing? Or maybe just lazy, and didn't want to wash his underwear." He will sigh.

"Well we seem to be in this together by a twist of fate, so you might as well ask any questions. More heads the better, and all that...

[Jenara]

"Thats horrible." she gasps, "I couldnt imagine such a thing. How horrible."

"Indeed, I am only here because I took an interest in who lived in my home." She reponds. "I have your permisson, Oh, I thought I was to listen."

[Nix said he would meet them at the Hanging Lantern]

[Nocturno]

Shaking his head Sue sighs. "We should be there soon.
Let's not mention my assiciation. People tend to clam up when the Watch is around."

I'll pause until tomorrow (in case there's any tail end discussion about things that have been found, or theories thereof) and then move this along.
I could do with a nod on the peace knot though.
I think it's a nice touch, allows a distinction between what is considered acceptable between, for example, Waterdeep and Neverwinter.

"Sadly some see you as heavy handed." Alecia replies, holding her Mace for a moment. "There is a difference between stealing a few Pies for instance, just to stay alive. And killing people.. Or so I've heard." saying no more she continues to walk.

The pair seem to be making good progress in weaving their way through the crowded streets.
Looking ahead along the street Alecia & Sue see a Watch patrol headed towards them.

It's reasonably safe to assume that the patrol leader, only 70 or 80' distant, has spotted Sue. The latter is fairly conspicuous and is bristling with weapons.

[Jenara]

Alecia says nothing hiding her hands in her robes and walking forwards, she didn't trust this 'Sue' but still she needed to keep moving.

[Nocturno]

Sue will try to "blend in" and move to walk as far from the group as possible.

[OoC: Did the 1% kick in and got me recognized? lol Or my weapons just drew his attention?]

[Jenara]

"Surely you already stand out, trying to hide will only make you more obvious." Alecia shakes her head, there was no use hiding, they were obvious, but trying to hide would Draw more attention to themselves.

[Nocturno]

Sue sighs, "Yeah, you're right. I'm not used to this cloak and dagger bit."

[Jenara]

"Me either, but it seems to make sense that if you draw attention to yourself, people look. I learnt that the first day I visited the docks." It was a lie and she knew it, but the inside the lie was a truth: Hide in plain sight.

"If they know you, just nod and move on, if they don't, and they stop us. We are on an errand for the Church, and you are here to protect me. The Docks are a dangerous place." She suggests.
