Mira moves away and speaks with the dusky hued woman at some length. They are not far away, but their conversation is quiet enough and the language still foreign enough that the group can't really make out what is being said. They shake hands almost stiffly at first, but as their conversation draws on, there seems to be a more relaxed feel to it.

Jerry cleans Merrick's face, the first effort spreading the red liquid disturbingly like a bloody smear; sending an involuntary shiver down her spine at the sight. Further efforts make short work of the stray beverage. The others around the table quickly tuck into their food, felling their portions of the small feast with alacrity. Merrick nods in thanks to Jerry before turning to his own meal. Pyros is so engrossed in his meal he is miraculously quiet for a change, while the Ranger seems to be deep in thought as he searches his stew for for answers... or perhaps escape.

Allison comes around again to make sure everyone is satisfied with their food, as Merrick translates.

"Thank you, Allison. It's very nice," tries Jerry.

Lang skill TN8% [1d100] = 53
==> which probably comes over as something like: "Riverbanks, Allison. Fields of lice."

After Allison move away, Jerry says quietly, "I wonder if they do takeaways: 'Portions of peace and quiet'," glancing across at Pyros.

Mira stands from the table, grasps her weapon's and approaches the group.

"Everyone. This is Adrastia, she's agreed to join us." Mira speaks as she gets closer, speaking in Elven. "Is that my drink?" She asks with a grin

Jerry stands, smiles at the newcomer with a "Hello! I'm Jerry," And a 'shooing' motion of her hands that people should shuffle round to make room.

Merrick translates the compliments regarding the food. Mira seemingly finishes her conversation and the stranger rises and downs her ale. The two women walk over and the bard introduces the dark-haired woman as Adrastia.

Merrick nods and passes Mira the wine he poured. The newcomer raises a hand in greeting looks over the group as she speaks; this time in perfect elven without the a-tonal influence of Sithicus. As she says, my name is Adrastia. Mira here tells me you lot are from... elsewhere. And that you are hunting something.

"Sure. And might we know something of you, please?" requests the priestess, uncomfortable at knowing nothing about someone who knows something about her.

Mira takes her wine and sips slowly, grinning at Jerrys reaction.

The dusky-hued woman raises an eyebrow at the half-elf cleric. So do I. I know little more of you than your name. she says blandly. But I too am hunting something. Mira thinks our trails may end in the same place. She grins slightly at the Kender's greeting, nodding to him as well. I am a... nomad, of sorts. I rarely stay anywhere long before the trail leads me on. And what of you, Jerry? What is it you hunt?

Jerry says conversationally, "Do the others here speak this tongue?"

If the reply is affirmative, she replies, "Rather than give you a flippant answer, I would rather give you a full answer later, if you get my meaning."

If the answer is a negative, she replies after a noticeable pause as a shadow passes over her face, "I seek the wisdom and maturity to be able to return my father to the ground. But in the mean time, here, there are those that alter form." She leaves it hanging in case of eavesdroppers with imperfect elven.

Elven? Adrastia glances at the couple dining some 20 feet away and the bartender behind the counter. I've no idea, but so long as you don't speak loudly i doubt they'd hear anything anyway.

The woman listens and nods, Undead... I am sorry to hear your family has been reduced to such. she seems sincere but remains stoic.

Jerry nods, "Thank you. So, what's your story then? If you don't mind, of course." She offers Adrastia some of her drink to keep her going until until Allison returns.

Mira slips in alongside Adrastia and grins at Elsa, before lightly kicking Artanis under the table.
