Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "To Skald" (Game Thread)
Finding him impossible, Jerry just laughs and gives the little fellow a hug, "Thank you."

(I'll post properly for Mira in a bit)

Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "To Skald" (Game Thread)
"My morningstar is magical and I am unskilled in using two such at the same time," replies Jerry. "But thank you though, Elsa." After thinking about the follow up question, "I don't know for sure. I know silver works on lycanthropes. We'd just have to hit something with both and see which it seems to ignore." She looks at Pyros and then fails to keep a straight face.TristenC wrote:Elsa picks up the iron and silver maces, hefting one in each hand. Wow... they're both so beautiful... how do we know which type to use when, though? Jerry, would you be able to use one of these?
Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "To Skald" (Game Thread)
"HEYNOW!" Pyros will dart up the stairs halfway, mock guarding with the club.
Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "To Skald" (Game Thread)
"Heehee!" Jerry giggles. "Every band should have a Pyros!"
Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "To Skald" (Game Thread)
Artanis will pick up the various types of arrows and if no one else requests otherwise, will place them in his quiver.
If he could see Merrick, he would pat him on the back. But since he cannot see him, the ranger states: "Good job with opening that safe, Merrick. A rather nice cache of weapons. Obviously the previous owner of the house didn't want these weapons to be used on him or his friends."
Artanis stocks up on provisions and replenishes the water in his water skin, and then remarks: "Shall we continue to Skald now?"

"Indeed well done Merrick." Mira smiles and places the golden arrows in her quiver. "I feel like we should take the Golden longsword, if only to sell it."
(Does the blade have a scabbard? If so she takes the sword and straps it to her back, yes she's slower, but not as slow as the demi-humans.)
After filling her waterskin and taking a the rest of the items from Maria she hoists her pack. "I'm ready to go."

Artanis, you could have the most stylish swords yet! A silver and a gold sword! You could have tales written about you. The Ranger with the extravagant swords!" Pyros will continue walking around swinging his new club. Not caring if he hits anything, like a child with a new toy tromping through a house.

Jerry tries to find Merrick again and to locate his arm.
She hangs onto his arm comfortably, and just whispers to him, "Yes, well done. also, this spell has a lot a potential that I'd like to explore."
She indicates by touch that it isn't the Knock spell that she has in mind.

"These obviously work on different types of creature, like my shortsword hurts some, I wonder what Gold does?" Mira asks openly.
(Artanis only took arrows correct? Mira cant use the longsword by somehow it felt wrong to leave it).
"Perhaps we should take what we can carry? Even if we sell them on they are going to go to waste here. Can we leave the safe open? So Ontash who I guess will drop by soon can grab the rest and sell them..."

Re: Act 1, Scene 4: "To Skald" (Game Thread)
The party begins divvying up the gear; decorative scabbard for each of the blades found lining the back of the safe. Oh... well… the right tool for the job, yes? Merrick says in response to Artanis’ complements. It’s almost as if he kept these in defiance of his nature… otherwise he would have simply had them destroyed, wouldn’t he?
As talk of silver and iron continues, those who were in the melee recall Artanis having struck the creature Jackques full-on with his silver blade, only to have it turned by the beasts’ hide. [Artanis actually hit it squarely with a silver weapon, but it didn’t even draw blood.]
Elsa put’s the iron flail back (previously mis-represented as a mace in my last post) and takes up the silver-faced hammer. I bet John would get a thrill out of this. I’ll save it for him.
Jerry finds Merrick’s arm. Well… we could leave some of them, but is he coming by? That large iron sword in particular might be worth something…
The party tops off their water and augments their rations with some of the drying meat.

"Is there a cart or something in the barn? Perhaps we could take them to him, and the farm equipment?" She watches Artanis's reaction, "I know it delays us further, but it would be dangerous to leave them here."

"We can go look," suggests Jerry, sidling towards the door.

[It was a horse cart]
Elsa ponders the weapons. Well... it wasn't that far to Ontas's but we'd have to pull it ourselves. she taps her chin in thought. If he is coming here for his tools that were stolen, maybe we could leave the weapons with the tools. That way at least he would see them. And those huge bolts look likr they'd fit his crossbow too...
