The 2E AD&D Homebrew Sandbox world of Genwald is large, ancient, and magical. There are many undiscovered/untamed places. The Sun Kingdom (European style, Late Medieval Human NG Monarchy) is the basic Campaign area, but PCs can end up anywhere.
The scars of ancient battles of titanic proportions mark the land. Wild magic zones, fantastical terrain, grand adventure, political strife, and even artifacts of wonder await. Choose your part and come make your mark on the world. A wide array of unconventional races and classes are available.

Can I make an Int check for it?
No check needed. The altar is obviously a place of sacrifice for Divine magic. The clerics (Linar and Nocturno) can tell the offerings are to an evil entity, but it is utterly unfamiliar to either of them...
The pots and things lining the floor have obvious spell components for the ritual (probably not usable for anything else). The various layers of blood indicate the sacrifices have been frequent and for some time.
Nobody has examined the bones in the corner yet, however...
Chris1234 wrote:@Tristen - Map clarification please: exits from the cavern that Linar is in:
a) N passage (then swings to NE)
b) SE looks like a dead end (pls confirm)
c) 2 exits to SW (pls confirm)
I will then edit this post accordingly; thx
A) from here it appears to. The angle of view doesn't allow you to see if it continues in any other direction without going farther along
B) Yes, the SE is a corner
C) There are some narrow cracks that might go somewhere sw. Nobody has gotten close enough or intentionally examined them to confir, that yet.

Checking the fairly plain walls for secret passages will take 5 mins for a 20' wide section... that's 5 rounds of combat. Are you sure you want to do that with an impending fight?
I made an error with Katten's move description. I corrected the map. Nocturno should be able to move past if he can do so before she is in melee, or he can go around if not.
