Act 1, Scene 1: "Through the Undergrowth" (Main Game Thread)

(Ooc: I agree that going off alone is potentially foolish... But trying to play in character, a chaotic short tempered guys was left babysitting an unconscious goblin. He's bored, and slightly resentful of being left behind, so hope I've got his actions right, being a little bull-headed and wandering off while the talking and searching is happening...)

"Well, now we know." Van wil put all that back into the pouch and give it back to the goblin. Trying to the a bit of the ol' good cop bad cop never hurt.

"Katten, maybe ask this goblin to cooperate with us. Maybe the chief is a bigger tool than I am and this one here is tired of being a slave. Ask him to help us get to the chief all sneaky like. Worth a shot."

[Jenara]

"Give him his things back. Gaan nou, nooit weer terugkom." She speaks to the Goblin, ordering Dran back, her intent clear. "He would betray us in a heartbeat. No. We go south, follow the path, and stop this boss man." Katten comments with resolve.

"Before we do. You." She turns to Elden. "No run in while archers fire, when arrows stop, then you attack. You." She turns to Van. "You no talk when scouts are working. Be quiet, time for talking is when we safe in forest." With that she leaves the Goblin and draws her bow, notching an arrow. "Chief is terrible he has big wolves, bigger than Dran."

[Sol Mazer]

Van will tap his staff a bit, thinking. Then say,
"I already gave him his purse... How about this... Teach me the goblin word for 'help!' I'll use an illusion to make myself look like this bugger. I'll run in screaming 'help' as a goblin and maybe draw some out into a pace where we can pick off a few. I'll just go right through the bunch, or off to the side. Eh? That might be a way to even the odds a bit."

The High Elf raises an eye brow, "Thoughts?"

[Jenara]

"Plan crazy and suicidal, first you give away advantage." (Unless the Minotaur does that for us..) "Second you not survive in fight." Trying to sound supportive she shakes her head. "Use magic for better purpose, use it to distract once we engage."

[Sol Mazer]

Van will give a nod and a "Alright- will do" kind of look.

He'll give himslef some space and warm up with his staff. Nothing too flashy... just trying to get into mind set of a battle.

[Jenara]

"Crazy works sometime. Sometime it not." Katten replies and waits by the entrance. "I take point, leave me gap, move quietly no talking, we try to suprise. Follow passage and keep close, use small light if needed."

Elden shakes his head and follows along at a distance

Katten makes her way south as the Goblin had told her.

Once the party hashes out their idea, the goblin takes one last look at the unconscious tribesman and rushes off east out the entrance the instant the feliz tells him to go and never come back.

Katten moves off southward only to find Nocturno returning in his noisy armor. Van and Elden Keep a little distance behind. She sees that the passage opens up southeast and westward, spotting Linar far westward at another passage that opens north.

[Jenara]

"Well met. " Katten speaks quietly to the approaching Elf, "You get Dark one." She motions to Van and Elden. "We head south, watch for Wargs."

Linar fires two arrows to the north at something beyond Kattens's visibility range.

[Jenara]

"Nocturno. You two, time to fight. Remember what I said." Bow drawn she Provides cover from the rear, knowing Dran will cover her.

Garroth will draw two daggers and head in the direction that the arrows were fired.... No longer trying to be stealthy he will move at a jog..

[Nocturno]

Nocturno will also head to where the arrows were shot. Longsword ready.
