Informing the others of the significance of this building, Haahqae tells them that he plans to scout ahead alone. The others can come up with a plan or figure out why they would have chosen this building to meet.

After Haahqae takes his leave to sneak in, Arulia asks Gobax, "Maybe we could go around the warehouse and look for ways to get in and out other than the front door?"

Grubnick agrees and joins her, looking about for any unusual places where perhaps something could escape, loose boards, odd construction, etc. The others made a good point. How do you think we should... 'convince' them to return the money... or lead us back to it? If they're friends, could we hold one hostage until the other returns with the loot?

Haahqae (Abandoned Warehouse, Interior)
Haahqae slips into the dark building, stepping through the oversized doors. His infravision adjusts well enough to let him see inside. The spacious warehouse, which once held numerous families and refugees, is now deserted. However, there are signs of the former occupants still strewn about, including musty old sleeping bags and heaps of rotting refuge.
There doesn't seem to be anyone here now, though. There's a thick layer of dust on the ground, as well. However, there are a few boot prints in the dust, suggesting that someone has been here recently.
Arulia and Gobax (Abandoned Warehouse, Exterior)
The two slowly circle the building. There aren't any other entrances or exits, save for the boarded up windows. Some of the holes in the ceiling might be possible to squeeze through for someone small enough.
Ne-Chanz and Shima (Central Haven Sewers)
Ne-Chanz manages to slay the strange looking rat with another blow from his sword. The final rat moves forward, also a strange looking one with six legs. Ne-Chanz hits this one, as well, hurting it slightly. Shima misses entirely, though.

Haahqae will examine the room closer; Are there any exits to the room besides the one he came in? Are there any hiding spots? Do the footprints in the dust seem to lead to anything or travel out of sight, or do they just turn around and leave at some point? Is there any source of light in the warehouse besides the door, or is he relying only on his infravision?

Arulia shakes her head. "Honestly, I don't think we'll be able to make them return much of anything unless we can find more people to help us. But with just the three of us, we probably can't threaten them to give us anything. If it comes to a fight, maybe we could win against the two of them, but I doubt that they'll be alone." She thinks for a moment. "If they are alone, though, maybe we could risk it. If we can win, maybe your hostage idea would work. But I bet that we're not the only ones that they've stolen from, either. Maybe we could threaten to turn them over to the mercies of the Dragon Queen's rule and see how they fare with her justice? But we'd have to win the fight, first."
Seeing no visible entries or exits, Arulia begins to look instead for something she could use as a club...perhaps a fallen branch or broken piece of wood from the decaying warehouse?

I don't have a lot of confidence in her justice, he says, making it clear he means the dragon queen. You're right that we'd have to best them first, but from what I recall they had trouble even getting past the first melee in the belzorite lair. If we can find some improvised weapons we should do ok so long as they don't bring a lot of others... he looks around a little. I, uh... I have something that might help. It's kind of a trap. It's a bag, and the first person to open it will be unable to move... if they can't avoid the effect. he gives her a meaningful look. Since it's an object, it won't be seen to be coming from anyone. If we could get one to open it, or leave it where they'll find it... he shrugs, Well I would think their natural curiosity would cause one of them to open it, particularly if it jimgles...

There are no other entrances or exits aside from the one he came in. The windows are boarded up, but most are broken so one could use one as an entrance, if they pried the boards away. There are also some holes in the roof, and a couple are large enough that a very small person, like Haahqae, could squeeze through them.
The only place one could hide, aside from the shadows themselves, is in the small office in the back--where Darewind himself used to conduct his business. The door hangs open and the furniture inside has been removed. There's a thick layer of dust on the floor, indicating nobody has entered it for awhile.
Examining the footprints in the dust in the main warehouse area, it looks like two sets of prints entered, paced around in the middle of the place, then left the same way they came in.
The only light is what escapes through the boarded up windows and holes in the ceiling, which isn't much. Vast sections of the warehouse are pitch black, but there are a few spots with a little light. However, once the sun goes down, the place will likely be completely dark.

Arulia looks around for a makeshift club. The warehouse is made of brick, so no luck there. There are a few trees in the area. The leaves have fallen, leaving the branches exposed. A couple can be found lying around, but they are thin and wispy. They might prove useful for whipping a bratty child, but are probably less useful as a weapon.
There is one tree with a branch thick and heavy enough to serve as a club. It looks like it was damaged recently, and it might be possible to rip it off the rest of the way.
(OOC: If she wants to try, it will take a STR check.)

Kendra tries to answer a few of the questions, but finds that her voice is drowned out by the noise of the crowd. For the moment, she allows her escort to hopefully get her safely through the mob of people.
