The alleyway has a wide enough girth for 2x2 formation.
Note: there are 3 of these sewer lepers blocking the sewer entrance and a fourth crawling down into the sewer with the prostitute in tow. Two of the sewer men go to investigate a baby cry through a shuttered window of an apartment. Leaving one to stand guard.

Idrys: (15) the dhampir appeared and sunk his sword hilt deep into the horrid creature (-8 hp damage) the thing crumpled to the ground in a heap.

Note 3/2 works as 1 attack then 2, every 2 rounds. So ur getting normal 1 followed by 2 then it resets to 1 the following subsequent meeker round e.g 2 round 1 normal 1 attack, 2nd round 2 attacks, third 1?attack 4th is 2

[But with the 2nd sword in the off-hand its 2 attacks one round then 3 the next, right?]
Idrys attacks the two going for the baby before they get to it.

Nope, 3/2 is 2 attacks 1st round, 1 the second making it 3 full attacks for 2 rounds. It's like a counter, just think: 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1. When you progress then you'll get 2/1, and eventually 3/1 which is like master level.

Did this get missed by accident?

{OOC1: @Spike - With respect, if stuff like this has happened, isn't being allowed or hasn't happened yet, we need to know, otherwise it's quite confusing.. My guess is that Karlene's CLW spell went off as Idrys stabbed Sewerman #1. The following assumes this to be the case.}

After casting her CLW spell, unless the way if blocked {OOC2: presumably Ash & Delilah are allowed to do something while Karlene casts her CLW,} Karlene pulls out her mace and hastens after the sewer-man with 'her' girl. {OOC3: MV 15" and Karlane will dash to the sewer entrance, then proceeding a normal speed..} She says to the sewer-man as she advances, "Give me the girl now, as she is, and I will not harm you and you can have the dead above if you wish."

I didn't miss it I was going to address it. I've been out all day!

Karlene pocketed all of the items she found on the pimp, then took a moment to heal herself. When she chases after Idrys she finds a dead being at his feet with a sword wound in his side, the slain man reeks of many different horrible things.

Two of the foul lepers came out of the window carrying a baby and are startled by the sight of Karlene and Idrys, when one threatens 'stand aside or I'll kill this baby, do it now!' he holds a clawed hand menacingly over the baby's skull, and looks prepared to do something like throw the infant against the alley wall. The foul being grinned evily, 'heh you'd better step away or else' the second foul looking leper said 'don't these two look pretty, bet they taste just as good as they look!' the first one said 'ware that man (indicating Idrys) he's got himself an invisible pigsticker. Get your shank ready'

Meanwhile Karlene heard the scream of the prostitute through the sewer grate from somewhere underground.

Nimbly Karlene bolts past the two and slid through the manhole, landing below into an underground sewer tunnel, it reeked of rust and limestone here. The tunnel extended at least 20 paces straight and seemed to stretch for a great deal ahead.

Ash casted a spell and caused both of the two leper men Idrys was facing to stiffen and freeze up. as a conical white ray of light enveloped them both.

Meanwhile the infant's mother came and began crying frantically sobbing as she saw her child in the monstrous arms of these two foul looking lepers, 'she grabbed her child and spat in the held man's face then turned to Idrys 'killl them, kill them mister! They're vile! They deserve to be dead!'

{OOC: Thx Spike. How yr day's been good. Was just making sure.}
Kalrlane shouts, "Ask, Delilah, ranged. Take them. Brother, no concessions, mop up, help the child if possible." She dashes after the fourth sewer man, saying as she advances, "Give me the girl now, as she is, and I will not harm you and you can have the dead above if you wish."

OOC: good, day at the beach so can't complain! Bit of a roadtrip.

He's not there, neither is the girl. suddenly though you notice now you can smell the traces of the foul being AND the girl as in you could track them by scent. You sort of freak out because this has never happened to you before! But you sense it has something to do with being a dhampir.

Karlane slots the 'can track by scent' information away in her obsessively organized mind for comparison with Idrys later.
She focuses on finding the foul being and 'her' girl and quickly follows thee trail aiming to close the gap rapidly.
She draws a dagger in her off hand.

You have your child now. Go back inside where it's safe. Ash, take care of these, the girll is still in danger so I'll go back up my sister. idrys follows his sister into the sewer.

[Ooc: I understand what 3/2 means. 3 attacks spread over 2 rounds. But that only considers the main hand. When I say 3 attacks I am talking about the main hand (2 that round) plus the off-hand (1 attack each round)]

Idrys and Karlene are now in the sewer tunnel together, proceeding straight ahead your vision quickly adjusting to the dark instantly. You can see some of the girls heat signatures all over the walls and floor leads straight ahead and veers right, disappearing into the wall of the tunnel.

The smell of sulfur is heavy here, trickles of water descends from the ceiling of the passageway. Every now and again you spot a giant rat, but they pay you no heed.

Once there you see there's a curtained doorway, the curtain made to appear as the stone surrounding it. Peering through it you see a set of spiral stairs going downward about 20' to a room below.

The stairs deposit into a room stacked with barrels and crates, with a door west and north. A torch sconce on the wall flickers with soft continual white light.

By all indicators it appears the two went through the west door. A long tunnel with cells on either side of the passageway. At the tail end of the passage is another door which is currently closed. The cells are occupied with old destitute men and women, drunks, prostitutes, orphans none who look sufficiently strong to offer much challenge.

cell #1: a woman laments 'poor girl, she has her whole life ahead of her. Now she's doomed, poor poor child. Wrong place at the wrong time'
A man's harsh voice in the cell next to her says 'pipe down with your bleeding heart sentimentality! They won't overlook having us at any given moment, and your bellyaching over a stranger aint gonna help the situation at hand!'

A man in a cell across from #1 spoke 'I don't know bout you fine folk, but I'm having a heck of a lot of fun in here, and these nice captors are feeding us a'plenty more grub than I can filtch from the back alley offerings behind Harby's more illustrious eating establishments. To eat me is a kinder fate, at least I'm providing them nourishment with which to live for their little acts of kindnesses and if you ask me, mercy. Can't cheat death when it comes! Hells bells if I could I would join them, sounds like they're having a barrel of laughs down here!'

Man in adjacent cell says 'crazy old fool!'

{OOC1: Is a map possible, please?}

{OOC2: And how did they get so far ahead? 1 round by my reckoning and Karlane moves at 15" and was hurrying, so 30". The bloke (if human) would be 12" and with a somewhat resistant girl, so 9" at best. Now if you're saying that 'that's the plot suck it up and get on with it then fine. But otherwise the gaps in the internal logic [e.g. 1 round head start @ 9" = 90' ahead; cover another 90' in R2, so 180' in R2 @ 30' Karane's covered 300' and so should be 120' ahead!! So minimum is he should be visible.] lead me to look for other stuff, other abilities in the foes. Another example, you cited her heat trail but specifically not his. So is he may be undead. Or is it a GM error of omission?}

Yes you saw hers but not his, and not an error, that was deliberate and you haven't any clue what their movement rate is or what they even are. It's not necessarily undead either but a special defense.

It takes Karlene some time to collect everything off of the dead pimp, turn the corner, assess the situation (you heard the girl in the passage at this time) it takes some time to find the curtained door, go through and down the steps. You didn't indicate that you're running full speed here. Is she bolting ahead full steam at running speed? or proceeding cautiously?

{OOC2: So, having opened the curtain and proceeded down some stairs, is a map available, please? As a thought, wyou were planning to post on Mon/Wed/Fri. When do you plan to instigate that? Otherwise I'm concerned we may lose players.}

You hear the door at 4 lock from the opposite side. There appears to be some sort of welcome mat beneath the door, with the words welcome woven into it in common. There's also a gap beneath the door large enough to slide the mat underneath.

SEWER MAP KEY
1. Entrance
2. curtained doorway
2a. storage room
3: some prison cells
4. door, unopened

If the scent trail leads through #4 then that's the way Karlene goes.
As she advances towards the door she lets the mace fall onto its strap and eyes the keyhole. then pushing the mat halfway under the door. If the keyhole is big enough to take her dagger to try and push the key onto the mat then she does, failing which fall back to her tools and use that for the same. If not working she tries to knock the door down with Idrys.

Idrys keeps his swords ready and maintains a vigilant watch, trusting his sister's skills to get them through the complex. Getting into places for him was always about pretending to be someone else, not necessarily dealing with inanimate objects like doors... he would have to work on that... eventually.
