Jocelyn lets out a sigh as she realizes that she isn't going to get much help from this people aside from being guarded. Walking up to the barkeep again, she pulls out one at platinum piece. "How much can you tell me with this?" she asks.

Jocelyn, Ouragana, Baeros, Gallath and Drav (Enott Harbor/Sardonx 15th, 4 PM)
The bartender quickly snatches the platinum and looks it over. "With coin like this? Sure...Sable, right. I know of her. She's a witch that sails with the Poison Curse." She stows the coin away. "You want my advice, you should keep your distance. Word is she cavorts with demons."
Val and Naras (Under the Sea/Sardonx 12th, 1 PM)
Naras begins praying as the three undine charge forward. Serenna readies a trident, Shin a dagger and Cye a javelin. Val, still riding Mist, spurs the orca forward. The whale easily outpaces all three undine, reaching the remaining sentry first. She couches her trident, the same way a cavalry soldier on the surface might while on horseback. However, the ixitxachitl easily evades.
By the time Naras finishes her spell, the Val is trying to circle around for another pass and the three undine have nearly reached the ixitxachitl. Her vestments begin to glow for a moment as the spell finishes. She is now as protected as if she were wearing chain mail.

Val and Mist charge 300 feet toward the sentry. Val couches her trident (+2 hit; x2 dmg) at the sentry while it is in full defense (-2 hit) [TN 10] (1d20): 2, miss.
Naras casts Magical Vestment for 30 rounds. Her AC improves by 5.
(OOC: As Nuke hasn't logged in 5 days, I'll just NPC his character until he returns.)

{OOC1: Thanks Jaded, it's been getting a bit of a pain trying to keep stuff rolling (not just in this forum).}
Naras runs full tilt towards the sentry, prepared to spear him if possible or else to divert to the cave entrance if more relevant.
{OOC2: Might not help but she's got Endurance (15). Also not too sure on the layout, i.e. whether or how much the cave entrance is further away from Naras than the sentry etc etc. Anyway, running closer to both is necessary, so I'm fine with being vague about it for a round...}

"I'm not too worried about demons," Jocelyn says. "When was the last time you saw Sable?" she asks. "Do you know where she tends to frequent? When was the last time you saw the Poison Curse for that matter? "

Ouragana can just keep her jaw from dropping. She had not expected the bartender would sell information so quickly. She listens closely, trying to learn how to conduct this kind of "interview".

Baeros looks around while this is going on. While the name itself doesn't seem to have triggered much, the sight of the platinum Jocelyn is carrying has caught quite a few interested looks. In fact, the attention of everyone on the room seems to be on the party right now, and none of it looks particularly friendly.

Shin is the next one to reach the cave entrance. He stabs with his dagger, but the ixitxachitl quickly dodges. It then turns and bites at Mist as she passes around, drawing blood which clouds up the water.
A few moments later, Cye and Serenna arrive. Cye stabs the creature in one of its wing flaps with his javelin, holding it in place while Serenna runs it through completely.
However, at this point, three more Ixitxachitl emerge from the cave--the reinforcements that Serenna warned may come. Each one starts swimming toward one of the three undine. Val quickly spurs Mist to get back into position for another charge. Naras begins running, but even with the ring of free movement, her short, stumpy legs ensure it will be several minutes before she arrives.

Growing uneasy, Ourgana looks for points to anchor a Web to so that at least some potential attackers would be behind it and they could reach the door.

Ouragana looks around the room. There are potential threats in all directions. A web spell could be used to ensnare at least some of them, but not all of them. However, nobody looks ready to attack now. They are just watching and listening very intently.

Assuming that Naras makes it to ~50' from the cave-mouth just as the lone guard expires, Naras advances on the cavemouth checking that her shield and spear are properly equipped. {OOC: 60'/round; potentially getting 10' inside the cave-mouth during round 2.}

Upon hearing name of the next contact, Jocelyn places her head on the bar top for a moment and lets out a small groan. "Okay," she says as she lifts her head. She turns and exits the bar quickly, making sure everyone in her group follows her. "People might follow us now, so keep an eye out," she says to the others as she makes her way down the familiar streets to the orphanage that she use to live in.
