"Just a second. If this is an angelic creature, maybe she tells the truth." he turns to Naishe. "Well?" he frowns at her and raise his finger as he would look at a child who had been bad.

Jocelyn, Ouragana, Baeros, Gallath and Drav (The Hold)
"It means..," Penta says, struggling weakly from under Sierra's boot, "...that I have angelic blood in my veins."

Gallath hurries out of the room, which prompts Naishe to call out, "Hey, where are you going?" She tries to follow, but is blocked by Baeros. He wags his finger at her like she is a child, despite the fact she looks to be a few years older than him. "Just because she is part-angel doesn't mean she's telling the truth. Besides, she's clearly crazy. She tried to kill me and your friend."

Sierra looks up at the group. "Hey, does someone want to actually listen to the captain here--" she begins, still waiting for someone to bring her the manacles she asked for. Her momentarily lapse in concentration was the opening Penta was looking for, though. She summons her light wings again, just for a few seconds. But long enough to knock Sierra right off her. The dwarf tumbles back and smacks a nearby crate.

Penta then leaps to her feet and charges at Naishe. She has no weapon, so grapples with her. Naishe tries to fight her off. The two women start to wrestle, both clearly trying to kill the other.

Val Urgan (Crow's Nest)
Val climbs up to the top of the crow's nest. Javos is up there, keeping watch. He's wearing a heavy leather cloak to ward off the rain. Val has no such protection, and is soaked through in moments.

Naras Stonebreaker (The Stores)
Hofur replies, "There are over a hundred people on board, not including your companions. Any of 'em could be a spy, and they might be doing so out of free will, not charmed." He shrugs. "If it's anyone, it's probably one of your companions. They're the only new people we've brought on board for months now."

"Thanks Hofur. If you do find something that I can help with, just let me know," Naras says and, with a smile, heads back to the deck area.

{OOC: Happy for you to move Naras to wherever on the ship if that makes it easier for you. She's pretty much goalless at the moment and so flops around a lot.}

Baeros lowers his hand at Naishe response but before being able to speak Penta knocks down Sierra and have her hands at Naishe throat. He tries to separate the women hugging Penta with both hands from behind and tries to pull her away from Naishe, "Someone help me with the other one!" He calls out.

If Baeros would suddenly feel that Panta stops resisting he will catch Naishe instead.

"Get Naishe," she calls out. Jocelyn starts praying quickly, asking Octhanus to hold Penta as she views her as the most dangerous one right now.

Val turns to face the wind and rain before leaning her head back, throwing her arms out wide and laughs manically. She continues for about a minute before pausing. Taking a deep breath, she turns to Javos before speaking. "Do you ever get the feeling that you have to World by the balls, and yet you are so insignificant?"

Ouragana takes the rod of iron into her hand and prepares to cast her spell. Seeing that Jocelyn begins to cast and the rest of the group crowd around Naishe, Ouragana watches and keeps ready in case Penta shrugs off the cleric's spell, or Naishe struggles against the people holding her.

Jocelyn, Ouragana, Baeros, Gallath and Drav (The Hold)
The battle is fierce but brief. Naishe tries to reach for her daggers, but Penta grapples with her, keeping Naishe's hands busy. The two roll around in the cargo hold, wrestling. Naishe tries to grab Penta's legs, but the aasimar is much stronger and easily breaks free.

Baeros comes up behind Penta and grabs hold of her, catching her off guard. With his immense strength, he pulls her to the ground and pins her there. But she's quite strong--almost as strong as the ranger. It's not clear how long he can hold her down. However, Jocelyn calls upon Octhanus to hold her still, and succeeds. She freezes completely, ceasing to struggle underneath him.

Meanwhile, the two elves both try to grab Naishe. But she's considerably more agile. She grabs the two men by their shoulders, one hand on each, and then hops over the two, doing a little flip and landing behind them. As soon as she touches down on the ground, though, Ouragana finishes her own spell having the same effect. Naishe suddenly freezes in place, unable to move.

===========

Initiative
Jocelyn (1d10+5): 10+5 = 15
Ouragana (1d10+3): 8+3 = 11+5 (wait) = 16

Gallath (1d10): 7
Drav (1d10): 10
Penta (1d10): 8
Naishe (1d10): 2

Baeros attempts to overbear Penta from behind (+2 hit) with great strength (+1 hit) [TN 6] (1d20+3): 8+3 = 11, success.
Gallath attempts to overbear Naishe, granting Drav a +1 to hit.
Penta is pinned.
Drav attempts to overbear Naishe with Gallath's help (+1 hit) [TN 11] (1d20+1): 2+1 = 3, fail.
Jocelyn casts Hold Person, focused on Penta (-2 save) who is strong-willed (+4 save) and holding divine grace (+2 save) [TN 14] (1d20+4): 2+4 = 6, fail. She is held for 12 rounds.
Ouragana casts Hold Person, focused on Naishe (-3 save) who is weak-willed (-1 save) [TN 13] (1d20-4): 11-4 = 7, fail. She is held for 10 rounds.

(OOC: End melee.)

Val Urgan (Crow's Nest)
Javos stares at Val with a bit of concern when she starts laughing wildly. "Uhhh...no, I can't say I have. Is everything alright?"

Naras Stonebreaker (Quarter Deck)
Naras heads back up to the quarter deck, having acquired her canvas. Peering out onto the deck, she can see it's still raining hard. The first mate, Terra, is guiding the crew. It looks like the ship is following the coastline of Mond for now, heading north and east. The ship isn't moving very fast, though; the wind is weak and against them.

She hears splashing around in the water, off the starboard side.

Naras smiles and waves at Terra and then moves to the right hand side of the boat to see what the splashing is all about.

Val continues. "As strong as I feel sometimes, finding my way through tough situations, I still feel like I make no difference in the grand scheme of things." Val plops down on her ass, defiant of the inclement weather and puts her face in her hands holding back her tears.

"So, we now have ample time to tie these two securely and then discuss what is going on" Ouragana says in a satisfied voice when both women are held.

"All right," Jocelyn says. "Baeros, get the shackles like the captain ordered. After that, maybe we can get some answers out of Naishe."

Jocelyn, Ouragana, Baeros, Gallath and Drav (The Hold)
Sierra groans and gets to her feet, rubbing at the back of her head. "At this point, I'm about ready to toss both of them overboard and be done with it. I really need to stop letting you lot bring more people on board my ship."

Val Urgan (Crow's Nest)
Javos is clearly caught off-guard by the half-orc's sudden show of emotion. He looks wary, as if unsure if this is a trick or not. "Uh...should I go get one of your friends?" he asks, not certain why she was telling this to him, little more than a stranger.

"Do any of us make a difference in the grand scheme of things?" he asks. "Some say it's more important to spend your life loved and happy than to be important. Octhanus teaches that if nothing we do matters, then the only thing that matters is what we do."

Naras Stonebreaker (Quarter Deck)
Terra nods at Naras but then goes back to her duties. The cleric approaches the starboard side of the ship, the rain quickly soaking her clothes and hair.

Peering over the railing of the ship, she sees humans swimming around in the sea. No, not humans--not entirely. While they appear human from the waist up, the rest of their bodies resemble fish tails, with fins and scales. They splash around in the rain, having fun. There are about half a dozen adults, and three children, as well.
