Kendra takes the black dress, and leaves the shop. She decides that it is best to go ahead, and take the dress home first before finishing off her shift.

[Oo: I think the Goblin, Elf and Gnome (man, we're a diverse party aren't we....) all agreed to go back to Belzor first right?]

Let's get on with it then. We should try to find some of the others first as well. Tulbas, you'd better bandage up where your visible wounds were so as not to arouse suspicion. Grubnick says, handing him a roll of bandages before heading back out.

Arulia sits down with the woman and apologizes again. "I'm sorry; I don't wish you to think that you shouldn't be here. It's just that you remind me of my sisters, and I wouldn't expect to find either one in this place. My name is Arulia, and I'm pleased to meet you."

After looking around to see if the serving girl had seen her call...and finding her still by the bar, Arulia pushes the coins over to the girl. "Please accept another drink if you so like. You work down by the docks, you say? Is business as bad for you as it is for my family?" But before the girl can answer, a thought seizes Arulia. "If you work down in the harbor, might you know of a certain pair of women? The first with fair skin and dark hair by the name of Yvette, and the second with dark skin and dark hair by the name of Xyleena? The last I saw them was down there...I'm hoping to find them again."

Kendra Greylock (2527 Market Street, Greylock's Gorgeous Gems)
Kendra leaves the noble district and makes her way back to the merchant district, to where she and Norris live. When she steps inside, she finds Norris behind the counter looking rather bored. He seems surprised to see her, though. "Kendra? I didn't think you'd be back so soon. Is everything okay?" he asks.

Arulia, Gobax, Ne-Chanz and Shima (Steel Tankard Inn, Common area)
The bartender looks Shima up and down and frowns. "You want to leave a message for him, mister..?"

Gobax steps downstairs into the common area. He can see that one of the blonde women has departed, Ne-Chanz is standing by the entrance, Arulia is sitting with a young girl of around 13 or so, and that suspicious looking dwarf clad in all black masterwork leather is at the bar, talking with the innkeeper.

The young woman Arulia is speaking to says, "I make enough coppers to get by, but not much else. Those are some exotic sounding names...are these women you are looking for from around here?"

Gobax gives Tulbas a bandage.

"Sure, thanks. Tell him that Shima would like a word; wants to see if his reputation does him justice.." replies Shima with a twitching of his beard, probably masking a smile.

(OoC: yeah, we're all on our way there, although we haven't seemed to move yet)

"Indeed let us depart." Haahqae agrees and makes his way back down to the common room.

Gregeddin had been pacing around his house, back and forth, back and forth. The letter from the trade guild clutched in his hand, stringing emphatic phrases together to practise persuasion of the prefect. The words weren't quite flowing together the way he'd like though. Taking a break he sips some warm water sat on a stool gazing out the snowy window searching for inspiration.

His mind wanders to where he might find his friends, the people he knows and trusts. The recent events they had experienced together were quite something the bard thought to himself. They'd certainly make a couple good tales in the corner of a cozy tavern.

Gregeddin readies himself to try and look as professional and important as he can muster, equipping his armour tunic cloak and blanket to protect himself from the snow outside. He mulled over the forged weapon permit [OOC Does he know if it works or not?] and decides to conceal knives in his clothes nevertheless. The trade guild's letter to the prefect also makes it into his pockets and the signet ring of a fallen foe fits onto a finger. Although the metal already makes his bare hands feel their warmth being sucked from them.

As he makes himself ready he wasn't thinking clearly about where today would take him. One thing he did notice stepping out of his door was the biting cold, and he judged himself bundled in a winter blanket, he hardly looked the part of being important while wrapped up, more akin to the refugees that adorned the city only short weeks ago. He thought about how he might make that audience with the prefect as he wandered aimlessly to where he thought his friends would be, they might have advice on it, or at least he could help them conclude the business with the Belzorites since when he saw them last they were looking rather worse for wear.

[OOC] Gregeddin heads to where he might find the others, assuming the Steel tankard or the mageware shop.
Forgive my memory but what exactly did Magnus wan't Gregeddin to to again?

Tulbas places the bandages carefully. Still somewhat shocked by the revelation of the old gods he follows the others quietly but he is strongly encouraged, 'If the gods are with us, we have a real chance beating those monsters...' he thinks to himself.

"I have to go back soon, but I wanted to put this away first," Kendra says. She holds up the dress to show Norris. "I was invited to a party later on this evening."

Arulia shakes her head. "I don't know where they are from," she admits. "I'd guess that they're not from around here; I've lived in Haven all my life and never heard of them before. I've only met them once, but they left a strong impression on me."

Haahqae, Tulbas, Arulia, Gobax, and Ne-Chanz (Steel Tankard Inn, Common area)
Haahqae and Tulbas come downstairs into the common area. He can see that one of the blonde women has departed, Ne-Chanz is standing by the entrance, Arulia is sitting with a young girl of around 13 or so, and a suspicious looking dwarf clad in all black masterwork leather is at the bar, talking with the innkeeper.

"I can keep an eye out for them, if you like," the young girl says to Arulia. "If you can help me find someone in return. Do you know anything about religion? Word is that there might be clerics in the city...not clerics of Takhisis, but of other gods."

Kendra Greylock (2527 Market Street, Greylock's Gorgeous Gems)
"A party? Invited by whom?" Norris asks, curious. "Was I also invited? Who do you know that throws parties?" He looks at the dress and his jaw drops open. "Goodness, Kendra, this looks like it cost a fortune."

Gregeddin (Steel Tankard Inn, Common area)
Gregeddin makes his way to the Steel Tankard in hopes of finding the others. He is stopped at every checkpoint and presents his ID papers and his weapon permit without any trouble. When he steps inside the dive tavern's common area, he can see there are quite a few people about.

Sitting by the fire is a somewhat overweight man with a farmer's tan and short, fiery red hair. He rubs his hands by the fire, sometimes blowing into them to keep warm.

At a table by himself is a dark-skinned man engrossed in a thick book. At the table next to him is a handsome fellow with olive skin trying to fix a very broken lute. It looks fairly hopeless.

In the corner sits a young girl, perhaps around 13 years of age. She is dressed like a peasant and nurses a drink. Gregeddin recognizes her as that girl who was selling clams by the harbor. The blonde woman who he met yesterday, Arulia, is sitting with her, talking.

Up at the bar is a blonde woman wearing leathers. Near the entrance is the white minotaur he met yesterday, Ne-Chanz.

At a table in the darkest corner sit four Baaz, drinking and carousing. A single kapak leans against the wall near the door, keeping an eye on things.

Gobax, the goblin true cleric he met the other day, comes downstairs and Haahqae follows a few moments later. Tulbas follows shortly after.

The barkeeper is behind the bar, speaking with a rather shady looking dwarf clad in all masterwork black leather armor. There is only one barmaid, an older, tired looking woman who is bringing a tray of drinks to the baaz.

Felran Del'ravdir (Steel Tankard, Upstairs hallway)
Felran goes through his things, but finds nothing missing. The others leave him behind and go downstairs.

(OOC: Tulbas was the one who lost an ear, not Felran.)

Shima Longfoot (Steel Tankard, Common area)
Just as Shima finishes speaking, a gnome perfectly matching the description his employer gave him steps downstairs.

Furthermore, today must be Shima's lucky day. Not only does the gnome appear, but a few seconds later a human enters the tavern with the exact description of the other man he was hired to find.

A few seconds after that, a young lad (just barely a teenager), clad in green robes with the cowl up descends from upstairs, as well.

"I-I know some things about the...the old gods," Arulia stammers. She looks about nervously and continues in a low voice...just loud enough for the girl to hear her. "Not too much, but I've...I've heard the old legends, but maybe I know enough to help. Who are you looking for?"

{OOC: I did do a post here already, but it seems to have mysteriously disappeared}

Turning back to the barman, Shima replies, "Not to worry, barman. I've just seem him. Thanks for the offer of help though".

The dwarf looks over to Arulia, hoping for an introduction, but sees that she is deep in conversation with a young human female.
Glancing at Ne-Chanz, he thinks ~It was hard work just getting his own name out of him. Maybe he just doesn't like dwarves.~

With that decided, Shima tries to make a bee-line for Haahqae, hands well away from weapons, arms raised as if in greeting; (having an irate Ne-Chanz behind you isn't a great idea), when close enough he says, "I'm Shima. I think you're Haahqae, is that correct? I was told you have an unbelievable personality and you're exactly the right person to talk to."
