Re: LSO OOC Thread II
As for as gear goes, definitely a heavy cross bow with 20 bolts.
And maybe a dagger specially made to conduct electricity?

Okay. A heavy crossbow is 50 GP and 20 heavy bolts would be 4 GP. (By the way, you are aware it takes a round to reload a heavy crossbow, right? Just want to make sure.)xelphyn wrote:As for as gear goes, definitely a heavy cross bow with 20 bolts.
Hmm, well maybe a normal dagger with a steel hilt? Or should the dagger be made of a different metal? What's more conductive than steel? Copper?xelphyn wrote:And maybe a dagger specially made to conduct electricity?
I actually used to have to copy and paste a lot of names, at first. I did it for Ouragana, Areilon (especially because Jenara would constantly misspell it herself), and several names from my War of the Lance game (Haahqae, Gregeddin, and especially Corococco!). You start to get used to it, though, and after awhile, memorize the spelling so you don't need to copy and paste.spyguy1503 wrote:Am I the only one who copy/pastes Ouragana's name?
Re: LSO OOC Thread II
I'm sorry if my choice of name causes problems. "Ouragano" is the Italian word for strong storm/hurricane, and I thought it an apt name for a storm sorceress. Perhaps it helps if you visualise it as a mix of "oregano" and "hurricane" in the feminine form?spyguy1503 wrote:Am I the only one who copy/pastes Ouragana's name?

Hurricane? I have no idea where that comes in, but ok. I'm getting the hang of it now. Also, Baeros, I don't know if I missed it getting fixed, but don't you want the priest to have a look at your dog while you are in town? And JadedDM, the most conductive metal is silver, according to Chemistry.com

Oh, Dahn will have the following spells prepared: Armor, shocking grasp, phantasmal force., invisibility, and blur.
Any news on invisible castle?

Re: LSO OOC Thread II
What worked for me was breaking the name up in half mentally. 'Ouragana' might seem a mouthful, but 'Oura' and 'Gana' are easy enough to remember separately. You then just add them together.
Anyway, a silver dagger is easy enough. That'll cost 20 GP. It'll be useful if you run into any lycanthropes, too. The downside is silver is not a very strong metal, so it may bend easily in a fight.
So one heavy crossbow, 20 heavy bolts and 1 silver dagger. That puts him about 13 lbs into light encumbrance.
No word on Invisible Castle yet, but it should be up before the next fight the party gets in (which is when his HP total will matter most).

Welcome back, you missed just a little bit
Re: LSO OOC Thread II
As Grey is reintegrated into the group so we can head on to the island, I wanted to touch base with you all a bit about the rest of the arc.
My goal was that all players would be around 40,000 XP by the time this arc ended. However, at this point, we're not even half-way there yet. Originally, my plan was for the party to retrieve the cannon and then sail off to Draska to face the Poison Curse pirates. I'm not sure that will be enough to get you guys where you need to be for Arc 3, though. I think we'll need at least one more adventure between getting the cannon and fighting the pirates, at least.
So I've been thinking a lot on what kind of adventure to put in there, and I keep coming up short. So I thought I'd bring you all into it; this is supposed to be a character-driven game, after all. So what sort of adventures would you guys be interested in? Preferably something that can occur between the trip from Wyvern's Island to Draska.

Well, while we're on the topic of Dahn's return, I imagine Mr. Grey has some unfinished businesses, or has made a few enemies.

A good point. But first, we'd need to establish what he's done the past year.xelphyn wrote:Well, while we're on the topic of Dahn's return, I imagine Mr. Grey has some unfinished businesses, or has made a few enemies.
But how would they get there?spyguy1503 wrote:I vote flying island!!!
Re: LSO OOC Thread II
Well, hmm.
He's likely done some smuggling missions, so maybe he's in trouble with some rival smugglers, or brought something into the town that he regrets after learning about it's true nature.
As for getting to the flying island: Maybe we can hire the ' Arakraka express'?

Hmm, I might be able to do something with smugglers. Not sure what yet. But I have some time to think about it, at least.
