[Jenara]

"Thanks." Angel takes the cup with a nod. "I trust you slept well." With that she takes a sip and stands surveying the site, the Ranger woke last? That vexed her for some reason, but so many things about this trip did

"I'm going to check on Breakfast." With a wink to Liri she heads over to where Salia was no doubt cooking.

[Stik]

Breakfast is, indeed, in the works. Salia and Egg have commandeered Galanis' fire and put it to use boiling oats, into which the girl has poured something from a large bottle and several handfuls of raisins. Even now the sweet smell of the cooking porridge is wafting through the villa.

[BishGada]

"No sweat." Galanis smiles at Liri and Angel. Then he goes quickly after Angel presumably to help with breakfast, and tells her, "Well, the distraction effect engulfed Salia all evening. Did you find something regarding it?"

[Jenara]

"We had a few ideas.. This feeling has followed us for weeks, all since we collected the body."

[BishGada]

"Err.. body?!? You told us just that we escort you to the next town. I don't remember you mentioned something about collecting a body."

[Jenara]

"Escorting a body is what got us here.." Angel says as if it explained everything cursing under her breath, ~This is why I don't talk to people.~ Angel thinks as she ponders what to say.

"Its like this, myself Papa and Bastian along with some others were employed to Escort Master Fraso and his staff to collect a body.. The body was taken from us by force." She says with a sigh. "This is a complicated situation, but one in which help is needed." With that she moves over to Salia, keeping her eyes low.

"Good morning." She greets the girl cheerfully with a smile.

[Hordeling]

Calah just kind of smirks and shakes her head, chuckling, at the revelation of the body previously taken by force. She remains quiet, but is intent on the conversation.

[BishGada]

Galanis looks at Salia and tries to restrain his surprise at the information Angel just dropped on him, "Hi. It smells like you are preparing a delicious breakfast." he says forcing a smile.

[Stik]

"It would be better in my own kitchen. I don't have all the spices it needs - I like to make this with cassia for the warm..." Cassia - a rare treat at home - for the plant came from the far south. Apparently it was less uncommon in the Empire, if a servant was complaining about not having it for use on the road. Galanis shakes his head to clear it and regards the girl again, finding her by the expedient of looking at the fire first.

Egg chooses that moment to speak up. "Cassia rolls, with honey. That'd be a treat right now, don't you think."

[Breila]

Liri comes up to angel. "I just got a disturbing thought" she says. "What if that power that distracts us from seeing someone clearly, is not a protection that Fraso cast on some item he wears. it could be a strange being that latches itself on someone or something and protects itself by making its bearere hard to concetrate on. then the questio would be: what is it, and what does it want from us?" After a moment's pause to give Angle time to think, she adds: "You were there when the body was found, was the effect with the body at first and only passed to Fraso later on? Then perhaps it's this entity that our enemies wanted to get, and not the body itself."

[Jenara]

"Yes.. Oh why have I been so stupid?" Angel curses so loudly the whole camp can hear her. "Why else would they want the body? The question is: is it attached to us, or is there an item that belonged to the body that we have unwittingly brought along?" She asks in a lower volume..

"It might explain the figure I saw following us? Who is to say it hasn't touched each of us at one point in time?" Shaking her head she looks away from the whole group, Liri included. "We need to discuss this with Master Fraso. Perhaps there are legends about this."

[BishGada]

Galanis takes some food and looks at Liri and Angel discussing the matter, waiting for conclusions.

[Breila]

Liri nods. "Yes, we definitely should talk to Master Fraso about this. As soon as possible. It concerns the safety of all of us."

[BishGada]

Happy that the wheels are falling into place, Galanis continues chewing his breakfast complimenting Salia on her cooking.

[Jenara]

"I will talk to him." Giving Liri a long glance she smiles. "And can you talk to Salia about getting trained to use a blade? Hiric will no doubt get upset but she needs to be able to defend herself. I will do all I can later.." With a gentle bow she heads over to find Fraso, hoping she can indeed find him.
