[Jenara]

"Oh, I think I can ask Paladine to remove the spell.." She looks over at Imani, "Well yes they might be a little concerned that Eli came to a Kender." She grins, "But I want to be there, there is something very wrong."

"You said they were immune to your.. skills?" She asks Malika, "Aren't all elves?"

[HorizonsDream]

"Are you sure they are elves?" Imani asks. "These draconians seems to disguise themselves as elves."

Malika is instantly cleaned up by Jerrard's cantrip.

To the girls, she replies, "That's a good point. Draconians seem immune to my power, as well. So I can't really say for sure. The two races have that much in common."

"So, I am going to assume that they are draconians, but why are are they keeping a village like this with actual elves " she asks. "It doesn't make sense."

[Jenara]

Jerrard can't listen to the conversation so he stands a little lost.

"Shall we meet them and see?" Locky asks, "I can see if they are evil... I have an idea, if they are elves I can tell, if not they aren't." She suggests, "Does that make sense?"

"Not really. I guess we just have to wait," Imani says. "Isn't there something you can do about Jerrard and Thuskar?"

[Jenara]

"Well, I'm no cleric of Mishikal.. I have heard that one of those could cure them.. but I can ask Paladine to help me to remove the magic." She replies, "I need to rest first."

[HorizonsDream]

"You have plenty of time to rest, it looks like," Imani said.

[Jenara]

"Yes, this room looks REALLY boring!" Locky sighs sitting in a corner.

Nine hours pass, and night falls.

Babushka spends all of that time in a tree, watching quietly. No hunting parties emerge...in fact, nobody emerges at all, strangely enough.

She doesn't learn much by just looking at the edge of the village. She can't determine where the party might be held, or their animals. But she does spot a tall structure in the center of the village; only because it's so tall can she spot it from her vantage point. There's no way of determining what it might be from where she is now, however.

Meanwhile, down in the cell, the party has been left to wait and hopefully plan on how they were going to get out of this situation.

It is now Last Watch (8 PM).

Babushka gets down the tree, a little stiff from all the hours spent there. If she remembers a water and/or food source nearby from her trip to the village, she'll refresh herself. She knows the elves have infravision as good as hers, but perhaps the draconians-dressed-as-elves don't. All inhabitants of the village will probably go to sleep, and so, after checking for guards and avoiding them, she will quietly sneak into the village to investigate what that high structure might be, and look for clues as to where her friends or their animals are. If she spots Dekker, she will stay clear of him, so he doesn't recognise her and alert his captors to her presence.

Babushka climbs down from her tree. There's a small stream nearby that flows into the village. She takes a few sips to refresh herself and stretches some to get the kinks out of her joints.

From her vantage point, right away, she can see three possible ways to get into the village. She could try climbing over the wall. The wall surrounding the village is only ten feet tall, so she could conceivably climb it, even without any rope. However, she'll have to drop down the other side, which might hurt; and she has no idea if there's anyone on the other side watching until she gets up there.

Second, there's the grate where the stream comes into the village. She might be able to somehow cut through the bars or even slip through them, if they are wide enough.

Third, she can try the nearest gate. There are two elven sentries standing guard there, though, and how she might get past them without being seen would be up to her.

Babushka crosses the stream (back in the cover of the trees just north) and circles the village counterclockwise, keeeping in the sade of the trees and brush. Noticing the group of four trees om the western side of the wall, she decides to use the largest one next to the fence for a lookout again. Perhaps she will even be able to drop out of its lowest branches on the inside safely?

Climbing the tree, she looks over the fence. She sees a number of small homes nearby, as well as what appears to be a stable with an outdoor pen. No animals are in the pen; likely they are inside for the night.

She doesn't spot anyone nearby, elves or draconians, at least in the range of her infravision. It's still a ten foot drop down to the ground from the fence, however.

Locky passes her too big cloak to Malika, and sits down to rest, She makes Jerrard as comfortable as she can.
When she wakes she will pray for her spells.

1st replace purify food and drink for sanctuary, same otherwise.
2nd same spells.
3rd two dispel magics (just in case)
