Echo throws another trio of darts at the bullywug attacking Hollidan, but only the last one strikes and only then, a glancing blow. Both Gimog and Hollidan are hit, but the latter only takes a cut while the former is stabbed in the shoulder. "Nuvain! I need help!" the dwarf calls.

Echo throws three more darts at the bullywug attacking Hollidan. "We can't keep this up much longer," she says.

"Tell us something we don't know!" Hollidan replies to Echo.

Echo hurls two more darts at the creature fighting Hollidan, but neither hits their target. The bullywug then stabs at Hollidan, but again it's only a glancing blow and the paladin is fine. Hollidan counters with his own blade, but it only slashes across the beast's leather armor, not cutting into actual skin. Echo waits for an opening, then throws one more dart--this one pierces the creature's throat, killing it at once.

Meanwhile, Gimog and his opponent keep each other in a stalemate, neither getting the advantage over the other. Praying to Gonto, Nuvain taps the dwarf from behind, on the shoulder, instantly healing the last wound Gimog took.

Echo considers being a complete smart ass, but decides against it as she throws another three drats at the bullywug attacking Gimog.

A bullywug that had been hiding around the corner steps in the place of the one Echo just killed and stabs Hollidan in the arm, causing the paladin to hiss in pain and take a step back.

Echo throws a pair of darts at the one attacking Gimog, and again manages to only hit once--but it's a solid hit, right between the eyes, taking it down. However, another bullywug then steps in from the other side right after, stabbing Gimog in the stomach. He doubles over in pain, looking ready to drop, but instead he gnashes his teeth, growls, and swings his hammer with such force that he cracks the bullywug's skull, killing it instantly.

Hollidan then quickly decapitates the last bullywug with his blade, before nearly falling over himself. "I...I think that's all of them," he gasps, trying to catch his breath.

"Nuvain, can you help Gimog?" Echo says as she steps over to Hollidan and places her hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?" she asks.

"I do have one healing spell left," Nuvain offers.

"No, lad; best save it for later," Gimog says, waving the elf off. "I'll heal myself up." He prays to Gonto, restoring the worst of his injuries, then does the same for Hollidan. "There, that's all I have in way of healing."

Hollidan nods. "Thanks, Gimog. Echo, you took quite a hit, too." He places a hand upon her head, and she suddenly feels divine energy flowing through her body, centering on her wound. It heals completely within seconds. "Try and stay behind us from here on out, okay? I can't do that more than once a day."

Echo lets out a deep, relaxing breath as the healing magic runs through her. "Thanks," she says softly. Though, she still looks pretty tired, even after being healed. "Yeah, I'll stay in the back," she adds. "Should we continue on?"

"Right," Hollidan agrees.

"Just need to figure out which way to go," Gimog notes.

"Well, that room is trashed," Hollidan points out. The fire's gone out now, though." He picks up his torch so he can see again.

"I would say continue going north, but I'm afraid we are going to find more of those things," Echo admits. "Maybe try the charred door? If anything, we can peek through it see if there is anything on the other side."

The group moves into the dining hall, which now reeks of burning wood and frog legs. The 'charred door' is blackened and quite hot, but hasn't burned all the way through, so it cannot be 'looked through.'

"I could try kicking it down," Hollidan muses. "It looks like it might fall apart if we just push it open, even a little. Plus, it's pretty hot."

"Just be careful," Echo states.

[JadedDM]

"Here goes," Hollidan warns, taking a few steps back. He then charges the door, throwing a kick at it just before he reaches it. The door shudders, but remains firm, and Hollidan is bounced back, falling over. "Okay, maybe not..," he says.

Echo snickers lightly as she watches Hollidan fall. "Graceful," she says as she helps the paladin up. "We can always come back to it."
