Re: DoD OOC
Just a few things, I've decided to make a YIM account just for users this forum. It's No_Trammeling.
Also Horizons, Thief skills? I suppose food, water, and a bag of sorts are a bit too dear at the moment but I'm sure Raina will prove to be a resourceful girl.

I think she was waiting on posting HP and thief skills until she knew for sure what level we were starting at.
Oh, that reminds me. Full HP at 1st level, or rolling it up?

Yeah, I'm waiting on once we know for sure what level we are starting at when it comes to those right now. I have the basic stuff down right now.

Re: DoD OOC
Ahhh, I getcha.
Oh dear, all of these things I take for granted and they're house rules. Having taken a look at the encounters within the mod, I think full HP at first level. We'll have to see about the level for now, if we don't get any more bites we'll start at 2. Though perhaps I should post some sort of add in the GitP forums.
By the way, is there anything else you want to know about the setting that isn't covered in the thread there?

Re: DoD OOC
How many additional players were you hoping for?
Also, is there a definitive date for when the game is starting?

Re: DoD OOC
Ahhh Jaded glad to see you're so enthusiastic! I'd like to start as soon as possible, really. Since it's a module I don't need that much (read: any) time to prepare more than reading the whole thing (which I've done once so far). I'll give it a day or so more to see who's interested and let you and Breila hammer up your characters before writing a briefing and declaring a start date.
I was hoping for 4-5 players I suppose, but the more we have the slower things move ^^; I would not want more than the max the module suggests, which is 6. Do you know of any interested parties?

Re: DoD OOC
I don't know anyone off-hand to invite. Most of my contacts dried up in the time I've joined Planet.
I can hammer out a character in five minutes, but I usually like to wait and see what everyone is playing, then filling in whatever gaps may appear in the party.

Re: DoD OOC
Breila seems to be leaning toward a priestess, and I've yet to hear from anyone else. Looks like we'll probably be starting at level 2 ^^ I may start you guys with an NPC or allow you to recruit from some folk you meet along the way to even out the party. Would you be amenable to this, or do you wish to go it alone? (NPC's are fun for me! ^^)
Re: DoD OOC
I've no objection to NPCs if the party needs a little filling out.

Re: DoD OOC
I'll give it the rest of today, and if there are no bites then we can start up Sunday/Monday if that's okay with everyone. Seems like no one really wants to play 2e PbP =(
Re: DoD OOC
Haha, yeah, 2E isn't as popular in the Playground as 3E, Pathfinder, 4E...or heck, even 1E for that matter. But I'm surprised, I assumed the reason I only got two recruits for my WotL game was because it was Dragonlance (which is decidedly unpopular at the Playground). I would have thought a Forgotten Realms game would get twice as many hits, at the least.

Re: DoD OOC
So Stik has decided to join us ^^ No idea what sort of character he wishes to play yet. I also got a few hits from other sites believe it or not! We'll see if they prove to be committed players or not.

As long as he isn't playing Martin again.

Re: DoD OOC
So there's enough interest in the game to where I'm confident the party will be at least 5. Everyone starts at level 1! Boooooo =]
