Update on my situation: Tried to order internet but there's a slight snag... the previous owner still has an active account. Thus I am stuck in limbo, hope to resolve things this evening.

Comp access is going to be sporadic at best for a while, sorry, If you feel it is necessary, just retire Jeremy, maybe send him off on an undisclosed journey, and if I manage to get a working comp of my own, I might be able to have him come back. Or not, either way, Jeremy should probably be retired for now.

I see. Well, I'll continue to NPC him for awhile, and we'll see what things look like once the adventure is over and proceed from there.

My house has internet now only had to spend roughly 8 hours with customer services.

Umm just about to post and I noticed neither Locky or Jerrards spells were refreshed....
They would be the same as before...

Why would Jerrard memorise read magic and nothing else? ......

Look, I'm really not looking for a debate here. Remember the Three Day Rule? Because it's been three days, and you're just now bringing this up?

So, fine. Jerrard can have his spells back. That actually works in my favor, anyway.

I'm going to the store now. When I get back, assuming the internet is still working for me, I'm moving this game forward, regardless of whether you've posted or not, understand? I've waited long enough.

Look, I'm sorry to lose my patience with you, but it's a real pet peeve of mine for a player to wait until the last second, when everyone else is waiting on them, to speak up about some rule dispute. If you had brought it up yesterday or the day before, it wouldn't had been an issue.

And what compounds the whole thing is that:

A) You've been in this game for nearly three years, playing the same characters throughout. By now, it should really be habit to immediately declare new spells the moment I mention it's a new day. I don't mind reminding new players to declare new spells, or even old players with new characters. But by now, I really shouldn't need to keep reminding you.

B) Jerrard was only missing a couple of Magic Missiles and an Armor spell. He has a Wand of Magic Missiles, so it wasn't that big of a loss. I don't feel it was really worth arguing over.

C) Your first action is for Jerrard to cast Web, which was a spell he already had on him. So again, seems a waste to have argued about it. He could have cast it anyway.

D) In the time it took you to argue with me over this all, you could have made the IC post and be done with it.

Well, then! If you haven't read my most recent IC post, you probably should do that first before continuing here, because spoilers--two people just died!

I can't believe it took me almost three years to finally kill someone. Please don't tell the other DM's about this. They'd take away my DMing license, they would!

But with two people dead, two unconscious, two severely wounded, and one possessed, things look pretty grim so far.

I'm not worried about Jeremy. I was going to write him out of the party after this chapter anyway.

As for Babushka, well, Breila, I have an idea regarding her, if you are interested. It was something I was thinking of introducing next chapter, but this really is a perfect opportunity.

Oh you reckon the party will survive this, eh? A dwarf should die rather than have his fine mustaches burned off. What shame!

Whether the party survives is uncertain. Imani is at full health, but the only other party members on their feet--Ulster and Thuskar--are severely wounded (both are in single-digit HP). Dara is really badly wounded herself, but Locky is still fairly hardy (and extremely difficult to hit with such a high AC). Plus, Fikod and Jerrard are bleeding out, and will die eventually if not given medical attention (they have a few minutes, though).

So a TPK is certainly possible still, even if Breila decides to take me up on my offer.
